My teacher provided us with the Campbell Biology AP Edition 4th Edtition textbook. Would this book be as helpful as regular campbell biology books if im trying to study for USABO or should I stick with the regular one that I have as an online copy?
on chapter 15 of campbell rn and js started school...was in ap bio today and turns out the textbook the teacher is making us use is the exact same textbook im reading rn
isn't there an ap version of the textbook...? he's given us just the standard version that everyone studies for usabo 😭

This is the most embarrassing score distribution curve of any olympiad. More people are getting near perfect scores than the mean score. Everyone cheats and the people who run the olympiad know it but don't care. It should be discontinued because otherwise the olympiad itself is just misleading. A gold or silver medal should automatically constitute suspicion for whoever claims they got it
What was up with the free response questions on the USMDO?
The website says absolutely nothing regarding FRQs. ("The exam contains 160 multiple-choice questions, to be finished within 2 hours.")
I didn't prepare for that. I can't imagine anyone did.
I ended up getting bronze, which isn't terrible, but seriously? Anyone know if the FRQs were graded or if the fact that they were even on the exam was listed on the website?
Anyone know when the results for the usmdo come out?
