Give me feedback hacked acc!

My account got hacked and Ubisoft won't do anything about it

TL;DR: My accounts were compromised in a mass hack, including my Ubisoft account. Despite providing extensive proof of ownership (linked Steam/Epic details, email history, screenshots), Ubisoft Support claimed they couldn't verify ownership and closed the case.

---

I've read a ton of posts now from Steam to r/Rainbow6 talking about how they've had their accounts stolen and Ubisoft won't do a thing. The same has happened to me, and I'm livid.

On June 11, I received three emails stating that there was a request to change my password, my password was changed, and then a request for an authentication code. All my other accounts got hacked at the time, and I didn't notice until a week later. I attempted to login, but obviously my password didn't work and I tried to reset it. I didn't get any emails (not even in spam) and contacted support to recover my account.

Support "sent me" a code with a verification link, but that email didn't show up either:

>For security reasons and to confirm that you are the account owner before we assist you with the recovery, we will need to verify your ownership of the account first. An email has been sent to your email address with a verification link. Please click the link to complete verification. The link is valid for 72 hours.

I let them know that I didn't get the email, and they told me that they would escalate the issue further:

>Thanks for letting us know you did not receive the email to verify the Ubisoft account. I see you need help recovering a Ubisoft account. In order to continue helping you we will be escalating this case to the appropriate team so they can check the account and the information provided, as soon as we get an answer from that team we will be answering you back! Thank you for your patience.

I waited 8 days before letting them know I still haven't received any word, and then this morning they told me that there was no way to verify I was the account owner and they would close the case:

>We understand that you are still not able to access your Ubisoft Account as you believe it was compromised.

>Ubisoft takes account security very seriously. Following your request to make modifications to or share information from a Ubisoft Account, we have conducted a thorough security review. Unfortunately, we were unable to verify that you are the owner of the account in question.

>To protect the security of the account, we will be unable to assist you further in this instance. Should the situation evolve and you obtain new information or access that could help to confirm your identity, please open a new request.

>If you have no further requests, I will go ahead and close this case. Should you have any other questions or issues, feel free to reopen this case by replying to this email or create a new one anytime through the Help Portal.

I responded with as much proof as I could provide. I gave them all the info I had on my linked Steam account, my linked Epic Games account, email history from my current email and the email I'd previously had on file, and my phone number. I gave them at least 5-6 screenshots and asked if there was anything else I needed to provide to prove ownership. They basically told me to kick rocks:

>Thank you for submitting your screenshots along with other evidence to prove your account ownership.

>We understand that this was not the outcome that you were hoping for.

>Since we have already addressed your concern, we will closing this case for now.

At this point, I'm at a loss for what to do. I've been a big fan of the Assassin's Creed games since high school and play Monopoly Plus with my wife every so often. Without my account, they're all dead weight in my library. As far as I know, the only solution without that account is to get a refund for those games and link a different account, right?

I'm just upset and will likely never buy an Ubisoft game ever again. I've made a hail mary tweet to \@UbisoftSupport explaining that my account was compromised with my ticket number, since I saw elsewhere that you can get help that way.

But ultimately I'm at a loss and deeply disappointed by their customer service (especially since EVERY other platform as allowed me to recover my accounts after the mass hack).

a peculiar situation about a ubisoft account

a couple months ago I had a friend beg me to play with them in ubisoft I agreed and went to log in to my account only to realize I can't, after a long time of recovery attempts I got an email from someone claiming they had my account for about 3 years now from g2a they changed the email password and 2 factor authentication the person agreed to share password and email and verify the 2fa anytime I want but that is outrageous I only went on that conversation in fear of him losing contact is there ANY way I can get my account back

I have his email logs I bought games in that account and the original email is mine is there anything I can do :(?.

Account Suspended, anyone else?

Are there any other people struggling with this issue? According to Ubisoft they are aware of the problem but have not seen any official response on their socials. Cannot log in to Ubisoft connect for a week now and they have to manually lift the suspension that lasts till I stop playing.

Worst launcher ever made 😂😂💯💯💯

This got me fuming smoke out of my nose. I recently got Watchdogs 2 and it keeps doing this bullshit. Does anybody have a similar experience? And does anyone have a solution for this?

Is this a phish

I got this email today. Ive seen emails from ubisoft before about login attempts. One was an obvious phishing attempt but this seems more legit. I clicked the link and started to type my email untill i realized this may be stupid. What do you guys think and have you got this before.

Unable to recover account

I don’t know if I’m stupid or if it’s just shitty customer service but for context I no longer have access to the email That’s under the Ubisoft account. my ubisoft account is linked to my Steam account and Epic Games account every time I launch any game that is Ubisoft it brings me to that account with those games. I sent them a screenshot of my receipt but they still can’t do anything? idk

u/Realfuckinfunnylarry — 6 days ago

THIS IS SO STUPID

i just bought watchdogs 1 and 2 cuz of the steam sale and now i cant even play it because when i try to sign into the ubisoft account i made right before tying to log in, it tells me im suspended for repeated login attempts?? I waited a whole day before trying again and it just gave me the same thing i tried to contact them but i just got an automated email.

Need Help Recovering My Ubisoft Account

I'm trying to recover my Rainbow Six Siege / Ubisoft account, and I honestly don't know what else to do.

My Ubisoft account was compromised, and the attacker changed the email address associated with it. I have already recovered access to my original email address, but my Ubisoft account is no longer linked to it because the attacker replaced it with a different email.

I've contacted Ubisoft Support multiple times, but the only recovery option they give me is to click a verification link sent to the current email address on the account. Since that email belongs to the attacker, I have no way to access those verification emails.

This leaves me completely stuck, because the only recovery method requires access to the email address that was changed by the attacker.

I can provide anything needed to prove I'm the legitimate owner of the account, including my original email address, purchase receipts, linked accounts, payment information, account details, and anything else they need. However, support keeps telling me to verify through the attacker's email, which is impossible.

Has anyone been in this situation before? Were you able to recover your account? Is there any way to get a manual review from Ubisoft Support?

How do I fix this account suspension?

I created a Ubisoft account via a VPN on a browser on the offical website and proceeded to play siege (launched from steam), which then required me to log into my Ubisoft account to play. I filled in my info, and then this message came up. I tried logging in via mobile hotspot since I thought my IP address was flagged, but it proved futile. I'm kindly asking if there's anyone who could be of help to me im just trying to play siege idk why the experience is so complicated compared to other game launchers

Ubisoft Account Was Stolen Almost 6 Weeks Ago, Ubisoft Has Done Nothing

Hello,

On May 16th, 2026, I got the dreaded email that my Ubisoft account had been logged into. Now, a little backstory about me. I am from Ohio, I have only ever played siege in Ohio, everything I do is in Ohio. Where did the login occur from? Kazakhstan. Then the following emails are that my password and associated email address have changed on the account.

Well this definitely sucks, but should be a quick fix. I go to the Ubisoft support website to hop into the help page, only to find out that Ubisoft support no longer does chat boxes or phone calls, email only. Once again, this definitely sucks, but shouldn't be a problem. I email support explaining my case and get a response back fairly quickly. The response: "We have sent a reset link to the associated email". Well, the email address is now the attackers email and no longer mine. I tell Ubisoft support, they respond with an email stating that it has been escalated to a higher team. Once again that was on May 16th, it is now June 23rd. I follow up week in, week out, until I finally get a response back on June 5th!!! The response just says they have re-escalated my case. What does this even mean? Did the support team see my ticket and spit on it then toss it in the trash? I would also like to mention I submitted a lot of proof such as purchase history, screenshots, information about the usual login state, and city, etc...

Next steps after seeing no progress for weeks: I see that this happened to a lot of people and they submit a case to SignalCosno, which is a government agency that will fine Ubisoft if they don't respond to me. So I submit my case on May 31st, once again with a lot of proof showing I am the original owner of the account.

Finally, 3 weeks later on June 22nd, Ubisoft responds to my SignalCosno case. "*Dear Player,  Thank you for reaching out to Ubisoft.  We have received your complaint regarding unauthorized access to your account resulting in an in-game sanction and take such matters very seriously.  Upon investigation, our teams found evidence indicating to cheating and/or account sharing. Such use constitutes a violation of Ubisoft’s Terms of Use and prevents us from verifying that you are the legitimate owner of the account in question.  In light of this, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to proceed with your account recovery request."* I check the account history, it was banned on June 16th, 2026, literally one month after I told Ubisoft that it was stolen. So you're telling me that because my account was stolen almost 6 weeks ago, and then used by the attacker to cheat on R6, that I can no longer even get help to recover it? I am so well aware that this is just an automated response that someone at support probably just copied and pasted once they saw that the account was banned for cheating, but it still stings so bad that someone who has been with Ubisoft since Far Cry 2, and picked up siege in year 1, can't even get help because the support system is so bad.

At this point, I am unsure of what to do next so figured I would post my story in hopes of someone at Ubisoft coming in to help me. I honestly just want my account back and am so saddened that this is the outcome. I want to point out that I am silly and used the same email and password for my EA account too. They stole that one as well, but EA support was able to get it back to me within 30 mins. If you have made it this far in my story, please upvote so I can hopefully get the attention of someone at Ubisoft. Account temporarily suspended: Ubisoft

My account was temporarily suspended due to “multiple failed log in attempts” when i have never tried to log in because i was already logged in in the first place.

I have tried to reset my password- didn’t work.

I have waited 24 hours to retry again- didn’t work.

I have tried to contact their support team- didn’t work.

How to fix this?

u/Emotional_Crew2694 — 14 days ago

suspended accounts

Lately, I've noticed that many people (myself included) are having their Ubisoft accounts suspended for no apparent reason. It could be a system error, I'm not sure, but the best way to fix it is to send a support request to their email address, forcing them to respond through their service and warning them to contact the Signal Consortium or the Better Business Bureau (BBB). That's all I can offer, as it worked for me, but they only lift the suspension for a few moments before it's reactivated. It's strange. Anyway, if anyone has any information about this problem, please share it here.

Linking Xbox account to pc account

I have tried linking my Xbox account to my pc account but I get a “Ubisoft account already connected to different user” error. When I go on my Xbox Ubisoft account it only show that it’s connected to my Xbox and my Ubisoft account isn’t connected to anything on my pc. Any ideas on how I can fix this to get my accounts connected

Account Recovery No Email Access (Solved)

Been stonewalled by Ubisoft support? Feel like you’ve been robbed?

Lost email access. Forgotten password. A purchase linked to an account you can’t reach. Hundreds of dollars in games and items — gone — because of a recovery system that doesn’t work and a support team that closes your ticket instead of solving it.
Here’s the thing Ubisoft doesn’t advertise: you can escalate.

Ubisoft’s cross-play account-linking policy locks your purchases to a single account with no real recovery path when something goes wrong. It’s not a technical necessity — it’s a cost-saving choice. Pushing recovery failures back onto the customer is cheaper than staffing real support, and their account-recovery process falls well short of what any company handling paid digital goods should provide. You paid for it. You should be able to get it back.

How to fight back:

  1. File a Notice of Dispute. Go to https://www.ubisoft.com/legal/documents/NoticeOfDispute/en-US, fill it out, and submit it per the form’s instructions. Describe what happened and what you want (your purchases restored, or a refund). Keep a dated copy and proof you sent it. Ubisoft is contractually required to engage—and paying lawyers to respond to your claim will likely cost them more than the value of the items you’re fighting for.

  2. Wait out their own clock. Their terms require a 60-day informal resolution period, including at least one dispute-resolution videoconference. If the dispute isn’t resolved within 30 days of their settlement offer (or their receipt of your form, whichever is later), you’re cleared to escalate.

  3. File for arbitration. Submit a Demand for Arbitration through the American Arbitration Association (adr.org). For non-frivolous claims, Ubisoft pays the arbitration costs—not you. The more people who file individually, the more those per-claim fees stack up on Ubisoft’s side. That volume is the leverage.

  4. Stack the pressure. File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and with your state’s attorney general / consumer protection office. Individually these are small. Collectively—thousands of documented complaints against one company—they build a record regulators actually notice.
You paid for it. Make them answer for it.

My account was hacked, but Ubisoft is supporting the hacker

Hello, my account was hacked a month and a half ago. Fortunately, I can still log in via Steam, but my email isn’t verified, and I want to change it. However, I can’t change my email at all because the system says I’ve already changed it recently. I wrote to Ubisoft support via email, but they brushed me off, saying I didn’t have access to my email—even though they hadn’t even checked that I was writing from my own email address, which was previously linked to Ubisoft. The situation couldn’t have been any worse. They replied, “Since you don’t have access to your email, we can’t return the account to you.” Even though I pointed out their mistake and showed them the receipts proving I purchased the game, they haven’t responded to me again and aren’t replying to the emails I’ve sent. UBISOFT IS A TOTAL JUNK BIN
