Ive just pushed an update, the addon now supports Lossless audio quality.
Its applied automatically so nothing to do user side, you should see the improved audio when you next play a song.
If anyone is happy to.this for me it would be most appreciated.
I would like some comment or posts to appear on the webpage from users that are enjoying what Ultramax has to offer.
Either something about the addon itself, the help/support i give or users give or about the reddit sub. Basicly anything positive that you guys have.

When I select something to watch it errors out. "Tried stream addons: Ultram. None of them returned streams for id=tt32278481 (type=movie)

I had a problem with my UltraMax; the latest updates of the addon had broken some things inside mine. Yesterday until 11:30 PM, and today starting early at 6:30 AM, he was fully dedicated to fixing my issue and managed to do it.
A massive thanks to him. Go ahead and use UltraMax, it's a great addon...
The setup wizard has been completely rebuilt from the ground up.
Step 2 (Home Rows) is now a proper category builder — preset packs, live Nuvio preview, category cards with progress bars. Way less overwhelming than the old wall of pills.
Step 3 (Collections) got the same treatment — visual preset cards, cleaner collection cards, proper images for everything. It actually looks like a product now.
On top of that, two music integrations worth knowing about for the MaxMusic addon.

Hi everyone,
I'm running into a specific metadata issue on Nuvio (Android TV).
All my posters and covers from aiometadata, xperience, or official platforms (Netflix, etc.) load perfectly. However, whenever I browse catalogs generated by Ultra MAX, the movie posters fail to display entirely (blank/empty), even though the titles and streams are accessible.
It seems like a specific ID mapping or metadata issue with Ultra MAX. Has anyone encountered this or found a workaround in the addon's configuration settings?

If your BetterPosters weren't working, here's what was going on — the setup page was generating the wrong URL format when you saved your config, so Ultra MAX was never able to pass the correct poster URLs to Nuvio. On top of that, even when a valid URL was configured, the backend wasn't actually using it when serving poster images — it was just ignoring it and falling back to plain TMDB posters every time.
Both issues are now fixed. The URL generator has been rewritten to produce the correct btttr.cc format based on your selected options, and the backend now properly substitutes your IMDB IDs into the URL when serving posters to Nuvio. We also added a Test URL button so you can verify your setup is working before you save.
To get it working, head to ultramax.vip/setup, load your existing setup with your token, scroll to the BetterPosters section, re-enable it and pick your options, then hit Test URL to confirm it's working and save.

Is there a problem with ultra max, when I click on comedy genre it's stuck on action genre and shows nothing.
Hey everyone! We've made some big improvements to the Community Gallery and how collections are shared.
What was broken:
Some of you were building collections in Nuvio's native catalog builder, exporting the JSON, then importing it into the Ultra MAX setup wizard before submitting to the gallery. This was causing the native Nuvio rows to get incorrectly tagged as Ultra MAX catalogs — resulting in "Addon not found: com.ultramax" errors when others imported them.
What's fixed:
You can now submit collections directly to the gallery without going through the setup wizard. Just click "+ Submit Collection" on the gallery page, paste or upload your Nuvio JSON, give it a name and submit. Your native Nuvio rows will be preserved correctly.
Fresh start:
We've wiped the existing gallery shares and are starting clean. If you had a collection in the gallery, please resubmit it using the new direct upload button.

Go to ultramax.vip/gallery
Click "+ Submit Collection"

Just pushed a fix that makes BetterPosters work properly across ALL catalog types — Disney+, Netflix, Apple TV+, Trakt, trending, everything.
What it does: replaces every poster on your home screen with a smart overlaid version — star ratings, genre labels, trend tags, quality badges (4K/DV/Atmos) and age ratings. All powered by btttr.cc.
How to enable it:

Load your token
Scroll to Optional Enhancements → Better Posters
Pick your overlays and rating source
Regenerate and reinstall
No extra addons needed — it works natively through Ultra MAX. Nuvio only (Stremio uses its own poster service).

The big question — accounts or no accounts?
The next logical step for Ultra MAX is a proper account system. Right now everything runs on tokens — an 8 character code that ties to your config. No email, no name, no password. Nothing personal stored anywhere.
I want to ask you directly whether you want that to change.
Option A — Keep tokens, no accounts.
How it works now. Generate a token, save your config, done. Nothing personal ever touches the server.

✅ Completely anonymous
✅ If the server disappears, nothing sensitive is lost

My honest take
Ultra MAX was built on the idea that you shouldn't have to hand over personal information just to get a good home screen. Tokens keep that promise.
That said — losing your setup because you lost a token is genuinely painful and I hear that complaint regularly.
There's a middle ground I'm considering — optional account linking. Keep tokens as the default, but let people optionally link an email just for recovery purposes, stored encrypted. No Google, no OAuth, just a recovery email if you want one.
But I want to hear from you. What matters most?

Another big update today. Here's what's new:
🌍 Language Filter
You can now exclude content by original language directly from your setup. Heading to Setup → Step 1 and you'll find a new Language Filter section with 20 languages to choose from — Hindi, Korean, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Arabic and more. Select any combination and those languages will be filtered out across all your catalogs. Perfect for keeping your home screen English-only or whatever mix you prefer.
🎨 Better Posters
Ultra MAX now integrates with BetterPosters — replace your catalog poster images with styled versions that include rating overlays. Choose from IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, TMDB, Trakt, Letterboxd or Metacritic rating styles, or just the clean no-overlay version. Find it in Setup → Step 1 → Better Posters. Existing users can update via their configure page.
🐛 Bug Fixes
Hide All now works correctly — hidden rows properly excluded from home screen in Nuvio. If you were having issues with this, regenerate your manifest and reinstall the addon URL in Nuvio.
Hidden from Home count now correctly shows in the Final Setup Summary
Hidden state now persists when navigating between setup steps
