Ive just pushed a MASSIVE update.

Its still beta, as usual im expecting some code gremlins somewhere along the line but as far as local testing has going, its all good.

The new release has LOT of new features

1 - Streams from within Uktra Max

You you need you own debrid provider aip key, all you need to do is pick from the list of stream providers, fill in their page and grab the manifest URL. Add it to Ultra Max and then when you want to watch something, Ultra Max will find the streams for you.

2 - Custom catalogs... so there are over 200 pre built catalogs but you all want to make your own. This is now possible using IMDB, TMDB list codes. They can all be built during your setup.

3 - background improvements to the way the addon operates in the background.

And loads more that just mean the addon can really be a 1 does all.

Really appreciate the feedback — this is exactly the kind of stuff that helps shape Ultra MAX in the right direction.

A few things based on what you’ve all said:

Top 10 / Quick lists

Yep… this is a big one. I’m going to be adding dedicated “Top 10” style rows (Netflix, Prime, Trending, etc.) and a “Quick Picks” section so you can jump in and watch something instantly without scrolling forever.

Too many catalogs / performance

Ultra MAX can get heavy if you load everything onto the Home screen. I’m working on a cleaner “minimal home” style setup so you can keep things fast while still having full access in Discover.

Collections / missing content

Most of what you’re looking for does exist, but I agree it’s not always easy to find. I’ll be improving how collections are grouped and surfaced so they’re easier to navigate.

Images / loading issues

I’ve already started optimising a lot of the assets on the server side (especially GIFs), which should help with loading on certain devices.

Existing token loading

Also noted — I’ll be improving this flow so it’s more obvious and easier to use.

Quick PSA for everyone setting up their Ultra MAX addon in Nuvio.

We've now got 270+ catalogs available, and a lot of you are picking 200+ of them. That's amazing — but Nuvio (especially on mobile) was never really built to load that many catalogs on the home board at once. Some of you have hit slow loading, scroll lag, or even crashes.

A few tips to keep things smooth:

🎯 Use the eye icon (👁) on the configure page to hide catalogs from your home board. They'll still be available in Discover and in your Nuvio Collections — they just won't try to load on the home screen.

📚 Use Collections. When you add catalogs to a collection on step 3, they're automatically hidden from home. Collections load on demand, so they don't hurt performance.

🏠 A good rule of thumb: keep around 20-40 catalogs visible on Home, and put the rest in Collections or Discover. Mobile especially will thank you.

💡 Reinstall after big changes. If you change a lot in your config, remove and re-add the addon URL in Nuvio so the manifest fully refreshes.

The addon itself can handle hundreds of catalogs no problem — it's just the home board rendering that struggles when you ask it to load everything at once.

Some of you have been seeing errors in Nuvio when loading the addon, including crashes and the dreaded "Element class of.x is not a JsonObject" message.

I've tracked it down and fixed it. The cause was old catalog references still stored in some configs from earlier versions — these were generating broken entries in your manifest.

To fix it on your end:

Open Nuvio

Remove the Ultra MAX addon

Reinstall it using your same addon URL (no need to start again)

That's it — no need to redo your config or pick your catalogs again. Your setup is preserved.

If you're still seeing issues after reinstalling, drop a comment and I'll take a look.

Quick patch pushed today for Nuvio Collections support.

Fixed an issue where Collections could sometimes look for an unavailable addon source instead of the installed Ultra MAX source.

✅ Stable addon ID implemented

✅ Collections now link correctly

✅ Cleaner install / import flow

✅ Existing users can simply regenerate Final Setup and re-import JSON

If you had Collections showing unavailable source errors, this should now be resolved.

Ultra MAX keeps evolving. More upgrades on the way. ⚡

So the release is ready BUT ive added alot of new stuff which means I need to get all the images sorted for the collections now.
