A major update across the board — setup, catalogs, Fusion and Nuvio integration.

Single Nuvio connection — connect once and use the same Nuvio profile throughout setup, manifest installation and collections. No more reconnecting at different steps.

Full Fusion support — combine multiple setups, preview the merged result, create share links and export Fusion configurations directly from the setup wizard.

Improved filtering — stronger controls for language, region, release status, adult content, ratings and catalog results. Anime filtering now has three modes: Allow, Reduce (keeps dedicated anime rows but removes anime from general rows), and Hide All (removes anime everywhere including AniList and MAL rows).

Since 7.8.0, a ridiculous amount has changed. Not just a few catalogue additions or visual tweaks, but major work across the entire setup system, Nuvio integration, collections, Fusion, profiles, catalogues, metadata, filtering, security and the Android app.

Everything on the page below is already built into the development version and currently being tested.

It is not a roadmap, wishlist or collection of vague promises.

Some of the highlights:

There is still final testing and polish happening before release, but Ultra MAX 8.0.0 is very real, very close, and considerably bigger than I originally intended it to become. Apparently I remain medically incapable of making a “small update.” 😅

I haven’t posted here since the OG UltraMax was relelase even though Ultra MAX has continued growing along with Nuvio the entire time and has sparked the creation of other popular addons.

I thought it was time to post...

For anyone who hasn’t come across it before, Ultra MAX is a discovery and metadata add-on built to make finding something to watch faster, cleaner and far less frustrating and is currently used by nearly 12000 users every day.

Multiple Setup Profiles

Step 4 now includes a dedicated Profiles section.

A single token can hold up to 8 completely separate Ultra MAX setups, making it much easier to create different configurations for different devices, people or viewing preferences.

Quick Profile Switching

Switch between saved profiles without generating a new token or overwriting your existing setup.

Cleaner Debrid Stream Results

Debrid stream results now use a consistent, easier-to-read format showing:

This should make stream options much faster to scan and compare.

Android App v1.4.0

Full TV Remote and D-Pad Support for Firestick and Android TV

Ultra MAX can now be navigated and used properly with a TV remote, without needing to touch the screen.

Interface Language Selection

You can now choose your preferred interface language.

The app currently supports 11 languages, including:

English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Arabic and Hebrew.

New Sidebar Navigation

The old bottom navigation bar has been replaced with a left-side menu that slides open when you press Left, similar to apps such as Nuvio and YouTube TV.

Improved Popup Navigation

Popups such as How to use Ultra MAX and the Share dialog now automatically focus the first button and keep remote focus inside the popup.

Smarter On-Screen Keyboard

The keyboard no longer opens automatically while moving through fields with a remote. It now opens only when you press Select.
