What’s it like at UArk?

I’ve heard lots of mixed opinions on UArk, some say it’s fun and lively and others say it’s dull and boring on campus, generally I always hear great things about Fayetteville, what is life at UArk really like?

Got a parking ticket as a visitor lol. Where am I actually supposed to park?

Hey guys, so I visited campus recently and ended up getting a parking ticket like a total idiot. Honestly, the signs and lots are confusing as hell if you don’t go here. Lesson learned I guess.

I don't want to get screwed over again next time, so where are visitors actually supposed to park? Are there guest lots or garages I can just pay for? Also how does it work—do I need to grab a daily pass online beforehand or is there an app like ParkMobile I should be using?

Let me know the best/easiest spots so I don't get ticketed again. Appreciate the help!

Hello UofArk I'm new student

Hey everyone!

I’m a new student starting my graduate program this coming Fall. I’ll be moving here from South Korea. I'm super excited (and a little bit nervous) to start this new journey in Fayetteville! As we get ready for the move, I’d love to get any tips or advice on adjusting to campus life, family-friendly spots around town, or anything a newcomer definitely shouldn't miss. Looking forward to meeting you all and calling NWA our new home. Woo Pig Sooie!

Pics of Hotz Furnished/ Storage Ideas

Okay so Im moving into Hotz this fall and the rooms seem really small compared to the other halls and I'm a bit nervous about storage. I was banking on having all my stuff stored under the bed but the only pics I've seen have the desk and dresser under the bed. Did anyone do anything different? Also how spacious are those wardrobes? Im nervous if yall couldn't tell 😭

Campus police officers really not having anything else to do with their time

They pull people over for the stupidest reasons. They’re dying to get any action whatsoever recently got pulled over for accidentally pulling into a one-way street for a split second and then have the audacity to say that I’m lucky I’m not getting ticketed.
