Weighing mount placement for a camera--avoiding handlebars

I need to get a 360º camera on our Arrow.

Has anybody mounted it to the accessory screw spot that's about 1/3 back from the front of the box?

Insta360 has a clamp mount that might work around the top tube of the box, too.

Using the side of a cargo bike for ads as a passive income

We are a low income family using a loan to pay back our cargo bike. Is it socially acceptable to offer the sides of the cargo area to local businesses for ads to help us pay back the loan?
Has anyone else done this and had success (or not had success)?

(edit to remove word “kosher” and replace with “socially acceptable” since this was causing confusion)

How are you using the storage space under the Urban Arrow Family Next bench?

Hey everyone,

I recently got an Urban Arrow Family Next and started looking at the unused storage space underneath the bench seat.

The space seems really awkward because of the inner an outer space.
So standard Euroboxes or storage bins don't really fit well.

I'm curious how other Urban Arrow owners are using this space.

Questions:
- Did you build a custom storage box?
- Are there any ready-made solutions that fit?
- Did anyone use HDPE/plastic sheets, aluminum profiles, EVA foam, soft bags, etc.?
- How do you secure things down there?
- Any photos of your setup?

My goals are:
- clean OEM-like look
- weather resistant
- removable if possible
- good use of the oddly shaped space

Would love to see pictures or hear ideas before I start building something custom 😄

Thanks!

Rain covers with more headroom

Hi Folks,

We have an urban arrow and are based in Canada. We love it. We got the second bench and kiddos (tall 6 and 4 year olds) really love the extra space. The problem is they both hit their head on the rain cover plus on the front bench and we have the rain cover on for about 6 months a year.

We are heading to Europe for 5 weeks and wondering if this might be a chance to buy a rain cover that has more headroom for the upcoming winter. Does anyone have any recommendations for something with even higher headroom in the front than the rain cover plus? Ideally more of a box shape like other rain covers instead of the slop down in the front. Thanks!

Best option for baby seat?

We’re soon-to-owners of an urban arrow family next. We have a 7-month-old and a 3-year-old. We want to figure out the best option for our baby.

We’ve ruled out the car seat because the baby will outgrow that fairly soon and it’s quite expensive. We could either do the Thule Yepp adapter and a Yepp Mini or a Babboe or Melia seat. We’re in Canada and can easily get the Thule option whereas a Babboe or Melia is going to be trickier to access.

For context, our kids are both smallish (25th percentile) and don’t have an issue being close together right now. I am leaning towards the Thule option because it’s easy to get and the baby would be rear facing, which is safer and also might help with her separation anxiety. But I’m open to the Babboe or Melia being a better option. What would you do?

ETA: if we go with a toddler seat (Yepp/melia/babboe) we’d wait until the baby is at least 9 months old to ride with her.
