So IDW made a short about tmnt/Usagi crossovers and I couldn’t help but write about saga 9.
Am I wrong in assuming the ball is in IDW court? Or is it dark horse that doesn’t do usagi justice?

Stoked to finally have Saga 9 in my collection!
I also got a sweet deal on it.
Someone had posted it about an hour and thirty minute drive away from me for $20.
I told them “man I think you’re selling that a little low”
He took it kindly and was still willing to sell it but I explained to him I was not going to have time to pick it up anytime soon. (Pretty busy at work) He offered to send it at a slightly higher price, 3 days later I had the book sent to me! Good people exist! Never had a really sweet deal like this before.
Just need a few more books to finish my Usagi collection. Good luck out there 🙂
Read the Fantagraphics books a while ago and loved them and always wanted to pick up the rest. Saw a Mercari seller selling some books and asked him if he had more and turns out he had every book released so far.
So happy to finally have it all.
Absolutely love this! Recently got this commission back from Eric Henson and he absolutely crushed it. Usagi Yojimbo with 2 remarques...Eric's classic Ronin (I asked him to do the orange bandana just for contrast) and the TMNT weapons armory. Hoping to get this signed by Stan Sakai too! Check out Eric's work here...//www.erichensonart.com
Earlier this year MTG made an Usagi skin for a card and it's been my go to commander. However for my b-day today my partner gifted me this! :*( 💜
Also, I gave a flemish giant (couldn't name him after boi though lol) love bunbun!

Hey guys. Got an email from fantagraphics today informing me that the boxset is back in preorder: Anticipated reprint arrival date: September 29, 2026 Just a heads up incase anyone was interested.
All the books are VG or better.
Hi everyone👋
I've been binging Usagi Yojimbo for the first time this year, and I've been singing praises ever since I've picked the first issue. It's been on my radar for years now and I'm glad I was able to pick it up, but that's neither here nor there.
I've finished Volume 2 yesterday and I have been noticing how wordy it can get, it's not much... But a few panels here and there have these walls of text that I thought can be annoying at times, which is strange considering past issues didn't have this issue before.
It thankfully didn't hurt my experience with the comic, in fact, this volume is my favorite so far (Grasscutter was awesome!), but that doesn't change the fact that it's there.
What do y'all think? Does it start handling exposition better as it goes along or will it be a persistent issue? Do you even think it's an issue at all? I honestly haven't read that many comics before (I have more experience with manga and Webcomics) so I might not be familiar with how American comics handle it's exposition, so let me know your thoughts!
Auction goes for 7 days and starts at $0.99! 😱 Good luck! 👍 p

Hi, I've been wanting to collect Usagi Yojimbo for a long time now and I saw this seller selling the Special Edition box set and the Grasscutter artist edition. I asked if he had more and he had 51 individual TPBs too and he threw it all up for me for $500. From what I can tell, it's just about every Fantagraphics, Dark Horse and IDW TPB.
I ended up just buying it without doing any research on prices because I figured I'd never have an easier way to collect the entire thing. Does that seem like a fair price? Regardless, I'm very happy to finally have the books. Read the contents of the Fantagraphics stuff a couple years ago and absolutely loved it.
I keep misplacing the emblem
I finally got to where Yukichi is traveling with Usagi and I really enjoy him as a companion for Usagi. I think their dialogue is great and have enjoyed stories more where Usagi has a companion with him. Is he going to a permanent travel companion? Has there been anything said about this?
Has anyone here had a commission from him at a con?
I’m going to sdcc and I’m tempted to pull the trigger on one. Just having writers block on what to draw or ask for lol
Anyone have any experience doing the commissions before and what it’s like? Thanks in advance!
