I'm hoping to join a friendly PvE group that plays together regularly, ideally once, maybe twice a week. I'd like to stick with the same group and progress through the game together.

I’m mostly looking for a vanilla world, but some quality-of-life stuff is okay. I've put a fair amount of time into Valheim, but I still haven't made it all the way through the Ashlands.

Playstyle-wise, I enjoy most things, tho gardening/fishing aren't my favorite. I tend to spend more time on exploring and I have spent hours and will spend more hours organizing inventory. I do spend some time on building, but I’d say my bases are best described as practical. 

I like to spread out and explore the whole world, with a mix of individual and group stuff. I like building way too many portals, but I love coming together for things like large resource runs, crypts, mines, boss fights, etc.

We're looking for some cool Vikings to join our village for our 1.0 run! We're currently a group of 5–6 players. Some of us have made it through two seeds, and everyone has completed at least one full run.

We're aiming for a run that's social, cooperative, and focused on experiencing the game together rather than rushing through everything.

🗳️ How the Run Will Work

We're currently running polls in our Discord to decide the different aspects of the run. The polls will be open for another 13 days, so everyone who joins will have a chance to weigh in.

Some of the things we're voting on:

🌲 How long we stay in each biome

• FFA up until the Deep North
• FFA, except with designated times for bosses
• 3–4 days per biome
• 1 week per biome
• 2 weeks per biome

🐉 Boss Days

If we decide to have designated Boss Days, we'll vote on the day/time.

Currently, 11 PM EST on Friday or Saturday is looking like the most likely option.

⚔️ Dungeon / Raid Days

We'll also decide whether to have designated days for dungeons and raids.

Currently, "play it by ear" is in the lead.

⛏️ Resource Rate

Currently leaning toward 1.5x resources.

🏘️ Village Style

We're deciding between:

• Centralized + allowed personal bases
• Centralized + no personal bases
• Decentralized + community hub

🧭 Who We're Looking For

We're looking for people who:

• ❌ Are NOT min/maxers
• 🔥 Have done the Ashlands before, or are happy to contribute through food, farming, resource gathering, etc. for the group
• 🧠 Can read the room and aren't pushy
• 🏗️ Know how to make community builds that are practical and easy to navigate for forward FOBs
• 👥 Don't jump into new content (raids/dungeons/etc.) without most of the group online — things like Ashlands bases, Smoldering Tombs, etc.
• 😴 Don't wake people up asking if they can get resources from the next biome when we're progressing one biome at a time 😂
• 🌲 Have experience with a run where they stayed in each biome for at least a week

Basically, we're looking for people who want to actually experience the progression together, contribute to the community, and have a good time doing it.

Holaa! Me compré el Valheim, pero la verdad es que me desanima un poco no tener con quién jugarlo. Tengo muchas ganas de probarlo, pero tampoco entiendo demasiado del juego, así que estaría buenísimo encontrar a alguien que quiera jugar conmigo y, si sabe, guiarme un poquito.

Lo único parecido que jugué (según Geminis, es la versión en el móvil) es Frostborn, que también es de supervivencia, así que tengo una mínima idea creo, pero Valheim sería bastante nuevo para mí.

Quiero empezar a usar más la compu para jugar, así que si alguien está en la misma que yo y quiere empezar de cero juntos, aprender y descubrir el juego sobre la marcha, messirve.

No busco necesariamente gente que sepa muchísimo; incluso estaría buenísimo encontrar a alguien que tampoco tenga mucha idea y que lo vayamos descubriendo juntos.

Starting a fresh Valheim world before 1.0 lands and looking for people to play it with.

I just want to play this version one more time before it's gone. We'll do a proper 1.0 world after.

hard because that's the fun part, 2x so we're not mining copper for three weeks and can actually get through the whole thing before 1.0 arrives.

It'll be lightly modded. Nothing that makes it easier or skips progression, mostly quality of life plus a few new things to build. Most of it I wrote myself and I'm finishing it now. It'll be up on Thunderstore with the source on GitHub. Install is a profile code in r2modman, or a folder drop-in if you don't use a mod manager.

Mostly after people who'll talk in voice and stick around past the first week. Doesn't matter if you've never made it past the swamp or have 900 hours.

I'm on CET but the world's up all the time, so it doesn't really matter where you are. Play whenever you're around, and we'll pick a time between us when we want to take a boss down together.

Hey yall. I’m looking forward to this new update I’m sure as much as the rest of yall. And I really want to start a new world for me and all of my friends with a whole Viking town already built. (We work a lot and we want to get into the boss fights quick). I was going to build us a starter town right at spawn before the update dropped that way it’s ready in the beginning for us to just go at it. I was going to gather supplies from a different server instead of using mods or dev commands. My question I guess is do you think that as long as I kept the build near spawn and didn’t venture out far that it wouldn’t mess up the new update? Let me know your thoughts and also what buildings yall think would be important to add to the town

Hello I've got about 50 hours in the game, just got silver armor. Love Valheim and games like Valheim but none of my friends play. Would anyone like to start fresh on a new server as a group?

I’m on a Steam Machine. My steam friends are on Windows gaming PCs. I can see and join the Valheim servers they host, but they cannot see mine.

Any idea how i can fix this?
