I've noticed my group has started to slow down. Obviously people have lives and what not but I am looking for members to join the server. Server is chill and we have a castle and a longhouse with a ton of resources.
What kind of idea's could I pitch that might get us all going again? Add another team and see who beats the game first with Raids on weekends? Anything helps
As the title says, I bought the game today, I don't have a clue what I'm doing, I have 1.2k hours on rust and it seems quite similar but the PVP!
Has anyone got a recommendation for a server or does anyone want to venture with me? 🫶🏻

My experience: I played Valheim back when it first came out for early access. I have roughly 50 hours in the game, most of it from wandering around. My friends and I got our butts handed to us when we entered the grasslands and enough of us stalled out that we abandoned the game. None of them are interested in giving it another go. I have been wanting to play so I tried it alone, but the crushing loneliness and tedious work all alone is too much for me. I never get past the dark forest. I'd prefer to play with a few friendly folks.

Gameplay preference: I'd prefer to play unmodded, at a casual pace, without relying on exploits or min-maxing. I'd like to be a part of a fresh run with a new world and new characters. I don't need to be in a group 100% of the time but it would be nice to spend time together in discord voice chat while we play. It would be great if the group progresses slowly enough that we don't kill two bosses and triple the size of the base one day while I'm at work.
Availability: I'm available to play any day around 10pm to 4am PST. Whole days on Sundays. Note that I will not be playing every day for all of those hours. I'll probably play 1-3 hours at a time within that window, most days.
About me: I've never gone out looking for a gaming friend group like this before, usually I just play alone until I get adopted by some friends. But that's hard to do in Valheim without the game setting us up in teams or anything. I'm a friendly no-drama person who usually gets along with everyone. Other games I have been playing lately are World of Warcraft (both classic and retail), Palworld, Rimworld, and Skyrim.
So if you or your friend group might want to adopt a new (I hope not completely useless) friend for your next fresh game, let me know!
Just doing my yearly playthrough because the game is that special. Need a server to call home for a few months. I do my own thing, usually solo explore until i find a spot I want to build a home. just love seeing other people online. Vanilla pref but will download mods no problem. Wanting to play with a group who goes at a slower pace, a boss per week or longer. Uses discord to voice chat. Cross play and no mods required on my end at least. And is NA based
I know it may be a unicorn lol. Every group I’ve been in lately has either been speed running, like a boss a day, or doesn’t use discord and at that point might as well play solo

I've made it as far as the Ashlands solo, but would like to find a group to play through the game with. Most of my friends tend to get burned out around Mountain/Plains biome so need some people for the long-haul lol.

Hello all you wonderful people! I'm a returning player, stopped playing shortly after early-access launched and am just now getting back into the game. I've been experimenting with mods for the past few days and am wanting to try doing a multiplayer run with RtDMMO or something similar. I am open to suggestions on what mods to run, but I want some people to play with. I don't really care about what hours you can manage, so long as it's just consistent. IRL matters first, so take that into consideration.

I am a casual gamer & a developer.
I am thinking of making a generic tool like the one Grounded uses internally. Where you upload your desired game files in cloud & it works from there.
Basically, your game files will be saved & synced through the cloud. So you can play even when the host is not around & whatever progress you make in your own time will be synced across all players.
But I need some help in doing some market research if a significant user base actually want it.
So I can decide whether to put time & effort in this one or not.
