LFG Vanilla Server , no "horse racing"

Hi I have a bunch of hours played before 1.0 up to and including plains. I'm looking for a newish server with no (or very light) mods and a standard playthrough

I dont care about speed per se but am looking to progress together as a group, not 1-2 people speedrunning the server like it's a race to see who can unlock the most things first (using up all the food in the process) and then oneshotting bonemass with 10 fully maxxed frostners in silver armor for example

Eastern New York Native Plant List

I have been planting native for a few years now, but one thing that I have found difficult is looking up native plants for my region or seeing them at nurseries, buying them, planting them, and tending them for years sometimes, then having a botanist come visit and finding out they're not "true" natives

I know this can be a source of tension between purists and casual gardeners, but as someone whose main goal is learning more about local plants I find it very frustrating how hard it is to find accurate info about what is a native plant where I live. Therefore I asked two botanist friends to help me compile a list of plants that are both eco-regionally native, relatively possible to source, and not difficult to grow.

I am happy to hear any feedback about the list, as it is still a work in progress, but please keep it constructive. I mostly made this list for myself so I don't impulse buy random "natives" from box stores, but figured I would share with others. Of course anyone is welcome to copy and share and change it according to their personal needs

Spirit Island Players?

Hi I am looking for someone to teach me how to play Spirit Island. I have heard so many good things about it and love the theme and am trying to introduce it to friends online, but I cant seem to wrap my mind around all the gameplay mechanics and I feel that I will only learn if I can see how it works from someone who knows it?

I would be happy to meetup at maybe Bard and Baker and pay for all your coffees and food. I can bring the game with me, I have actually tried playing it solo and still cant seem to get it

Looking for fun or interesting Continuing Education Unit opportunities

Hi all,

I had attained my KPA-CTP certification in 2013 and since then have let it lapse as my business grew more in the dog walking and playgroup area. Unfortunately many of the dogs in my service have passed away due to old age (and cancer) and I am feeling the need to reup my credentials so that I can begin marketing my services, as well as to get back in the loop of current best practices and methodologies.

As such I am planning to join the KPA ACE program which requires 12 CEUs to start back up, and I was wondering if there are any online courses either ongoing or upcoming that trainers are excited about and looking forward to.

I do not know if I will go back to training, which I have done in the past, or stick with walking. so if there are walking specific training classes that involve walking like Rally O maybe I'd love to hear about those especially. I am in upstate New York, US, so if there are live classes for trainers I'd love to hear about those as well.

I'm not in a super rush because to be honest. I'm struggling with the loss of "my" dogs and I don't want to somehow end up a blubbering mess in front of new clients, but when I do decide I'm ready to put myself out there more I'd like to hit the ground running

Thanks for your time and consideration!
