New watcher and I'm on season 2. These ladies don't eat much at all. Binge drinking on top of that can bring out the frustration and anger in nearly anyone. They're about the same age as my kids, so my "mom" instinct kicks in. I just want to cook them a nice comfort-food dinner so they'll feel better.

Schwartz and Sandovals relationship now

Does anyone know how close the two are now? The last time I heard either of them publicly comment on their friendship was when Schwartz visited Sandoval on house of villains and Sandoval told Tyson they weren’t as close anymore bc their bar had closed down. And Sandoval has not been mentioned at all by Schwartz on his season of the valley. I never really see posts of the two of them together anymore and it makes me wonder if they grew apart over time or if Schwartz’s secret animosity towards Sandoval caused Schwartz to isolate himself.

Who got friend custody in the Shomo split?

I’m sure this is pretty niche, but for those who are VPR + alt music scene, this one’s for you:

So we know that Caleb Shomo of Beartooth came out as gay last month, and obviously he and his longtime wife Fleur split.

They were two peas in a pod in terms of friend group and in the last year or two had become very close with our girl Katie Maloney, Dayna Kathan and their crew.

But in the last couple weeks, my nosiness got the better of me and I noticed that while Fleur still follows Katie on IG, she no longer follows Dayna and vice versa. She follows Raleigh Seldon (artist management), but Raleigh doesn’t follow her back. BUT— both Dayna and Raleigh still follow Caleb and his brother/SIL.

Any thoughts on why some friends took sides? Or no correlation?

Starting a rewatch

After binging The Valley I decided to go back to the beginning... I didn't religiously watch it so I'm sure there's things I've missed!

I'm only on the first episode and I'm already cringing out of my seat at Sheana moaning in the music studio and Shay watching and dying inside 🫪😆

We all know the classic comments "I'm the number one guy in the group!" but what are some of the lesser known ridiculous quotes I should look out for?

Sheana Shay! You've been called out

Just ran across this opinion piece in the New York Times, and I immediately thought of Sheana location mapping her friends and when she was called out on it, she justified her reasons, which only seemed to make sense to her. Because it's usually all about her?

I just thought we could get a good laugh out of this. Also? Don't location track your friends and family. Your kids, sure, but I can't see why you'd track anyone else but maybe someone you are trying to avoid running into. (I would totally track my ex if we even had any contact info on each other ha ha 😅)

Tom Schwartz throwing Katie to the wolves

It happens a lot throughout the show but what I’m specifically referencing is when Schwartz and Sandoval are opening their new bar in s9 and Sandoval really wants to name it Schwartz and Sandy’s and Schwartz doesn’t like the name so instead of talking to Sandoval about it he asks Katie to try and steer him off of the name and when Katie does that Sandoval blows up at her publicly multiple times and tom Schwartz does ✨nothing✨

Then behind closed doors he tells her he does hate the name and Katie says she’s not the only person who recognizes that Sandoval steamrolls Schwartz and Schwartz says he doesn’t do that then cut to Schwartz’s interview bite where he says he is scared to have a conversation with Sandoval bc he doesn’t want to get steamrolled!! It’s infuriating he hides behind his nice guy facade and has Katie do all his dirty work then when Katie gets yelled at for it he’s like well Katie why did you say that?

And Katie is most of the time just trying to stick up for him it’s also strange he seems to be scared of any sort of confrontation with anyone else but eager to have public confrontation with Katie.
