How to add a pistol in Vanilla Photomode

What You Need

- V

- Another โ€œGun Holderโ€ NPC (any NPC that can use a pistol in the Action Pose tab) I say that because Reed, Ozob, Jackie can't wield a gun.

For this example, I'm using Johnny.

How It Works

Certain poses disable the โ€œLook Atโ€ option. When this happens, V's Body values are RESET to their BODY numbers(which is 0,0,0. HEAD will not be affected but that is irrelevant for now). However, with NPCs, these poses retain the adjusted BODY values. This is an important part of our method.

  1. Select GAME OVER

In the Action tab, select the GAME OVER pose. You'll notice that the pistol is positioned far away from the character(locate the pistol by turning MUZZLE FLASH, ON.). Unfortunately, you can't adjust the pose while using GAME OVER.

  1. Switch to FLOOR IS LAVA

Select the FLOOR IS LAVA pose instead. This pose allows you to adjust the character's Body values.

  1. Adjust the Body values

Make the necessary adjustments to get the pistol closer to your desired position. Use your imagination and see picture above as samples.

  1. Switch back to GAME OVER

You'll notice that the pistol has now changed position too! This happens because its position is locked to the character's Body orientation.

  1. Experiment with the placement

Now comes the fun part! Use a little patience and ingenuity to fine-tune the position until you get the result you want.

Give Me Something To Photograph ๐Ÿ™

I've been getting a little bored with my usual photography lately, so I'm going to give myself something new to work with.

Give me something to photograph. ๐Ÿ‘€

It can be anything... a specific character, NPC, location, pose, situation, or even a specific type of shot. Anything that gets me thinking outside my usual style.

I'm going to pick a few suggestions and see what I can do with them.

And if you see something you like and want to give it a go yourself, feel free to join in.

So... what should I photograph?
