Hello! Rookie Venture Player here.

I just hit Level 30 on Venture yesterday!

Now I had an Argument with Friends with them saying Venture is broken and that I only play Venture because of that. I replied by saying „Why does rarely anyone ban them?“

With that being said i don‘t want to downplay the strength of Venture, counterwatch placed them in A-Tier which I feel is accurate and in my Rank hovering between Silver 2 and Gold 3, i find my match history being more Green than red when playing venture. I think in lower Ranks it’s easier to have success with Venture because barely people know what to do against them.

My question for this sub is: how do you feel about Venture in your Rank? Would Like to have compareable evaluations across different ranks.

Buncha Bullshit

So I was in qp on venture attacking kings row. I flank on the streets top floor and hide while I wait for my team to respawn before I assassinate the enemy Ana. My teams rein sees this and suddenly starts typing in match chat like crazy, crying that I’m just sitting in their backline doing nothing, which I found hilarious. I explained to him that my job is to get opening picks, and while my team respawned I have no reason to give myself away in a 1v5 when they’re not too distracted to peel for Ana. Ofc rein doesn’t comprehend this and tells everyone to report me. I was laughing my ass off. He threw till we lost but I wasnt rly upset. Venture gang.

my favorite part of being high level (100+) on Venture is the amount of people telling me that they CANNOT be that fun

im convinced everyone that says that hasn't played Venture for longer than an hour. there's nothing more satisfying in the game to me than quietly flanking a team and one-shotting a dps or a support so quickly that no one knows what's happening before you've already burrowed out. it's like crack to me

I just wanted to see which characters do you want venture to get skins for. Personally for me i want a simon one from gurren laggon because it works Personally thier weapon is literally also a drill. Also David from cyberpunk seeing as the VA is voicing a character in the verse also David is also part Mexican like venture. Those are mines but im wondering if anyone else has been thinking about stuff like this

whoever tied a ball and chain to venture needs to be jailed

losing the oneshot for two charges of drill dash when a) it TICKLES the enemy (i couldn't even kill a soldier) and b) even with the minor perk, it doesn't feel like it goes the same distance AND it feels like i drop to the ground so much quicker just feels like garbage

this is just a venture nerf. it didn't add anything, it just made them clunky and weak
