Ayuda con mis planes

Hi please would anyone give me some advice on my itinerary before I go ahead an book it all?

If your curious as to why I'm spending so much time in BA and Vina del Mar, it's because I'm working online (tutoring) during these periods and wanted something chill. I will also be tutoring while in the Chilean lakes but reduced hours. No working Torres del Paine onwards.

I don’t know whether to do 3 weeks in BA so I can do a week in Bariloche. I've also seen recommendations to visit Valdivia, Lago Ranco and La Serena.

QUESTIONS:

  • Am I missing anywhere?
  • Does it look to rushed?
  • Are there tours in Atacama in the xmas period? What about spending xmas day there?
  • I think Torres del Paine is all booked out for doing it solo, but ive seen a tour for 1K ish euros. Is this acceptable or am I being scammed?

Dates Where Notes
10 Nov – 10 Dec Buenos Aires   (I'm potentially flying into Rosario due to flights being dirt cheap and would spend 1 night there). Weekend trips   Day trips:        Iguazú, Tigre /Tigre Delta, (can kayak) Colonia + Montevideo (only if I decide not to do Urugary on tail end - could do each as a day trip tbf), (Mar del plata - potencialmente) Peru Beach (halfway between Tigre and BA) San Antonio de Areco, La Plata Lujan (cuidad bonita a una hora en autobus).
10 – 15 Dec Salta (5 nights) Fly BA → Salta.   Purmamarca, Tilcara and (Quebrada de)Humahuaca
15 – 17 Dec Córdoba (2 nights)   (There is no direct flight from Salta to Mendoza) Fly Salta → Córdoba, then overnight bus on the 17th.   Manzana Jesuítica (Jesuit Block) — UNESCO World Heritage Site Plaza San Martín & Córdoba Cathedral
18 – 22 Dec Mendoza (4 nights) Bike tour in the vineyards Wine valley tour (bodegas) Aconcagua Provincial Park (tallest mountain in the Americas) and Termas de Cacheuta - do a tour
22 – 23 Dec Santiago (1 night) Bus from Mendoza.
23 – 28 Dec Atacama (5 nights) Fly via Santiago. I'm in San Pedro for Christmas, with no travel on the 25th.     Bahía Inglesa?   NB: I'm skipping La SerenaEvening Astronomy Tour, Tour of Piedras Rojas, Altiplanic Lagoons & Salar, Cejar & Tebinquiche Lagoons
28 Dec – 10 Jan Viña (13 nights) NYE here.
I think both Pucon and Puerto Varas are more just hubs but there are things to do in each (Pucon has more to do, but PV is prettier).
16 – 22 Jan Puerto Varas (6 nights) Day trips:   Petrohué + Osorno Volcano, Frutillar (German-influenced lakeside town), Osorno (NB: el vulcano de osorno no esta en osorno),   Maybe: Peulla & Todos los Santos Lake Cochamó Valley (hiking - looks so beautiful) optionally Chiloé.
22 – 24 Jan Puerto Natales Fly Puerto Montt → Punta Arenas, then bus. Gear and weather buffer.   (NB: punta arenas also has things too I think)   Puerto Natales: This is a buffer in case of the weather (for the tour!) Glacier cruise, Cerro Dorotea hike, Milodón Cave
24 – 30 Jan Torres del Paine W trek Tour
30 – 31 Jan Natales Recovery night.
31 Jan – 3 Feb El Calafate Perito Moreno as a day trip
3 – 8 Feb El Chaltén (5 nights) Extra day for clear weather on Fitz Roy.   Laguna de los Tres (Fitz Roy) and Laguna Torre as day hikes.
8 – 9 Feb Calafate Night before the flight.
9 – 14 Feb Ushuaia (5 nights) Penguin tour.     Do I go to Baroliche afterwards?
14 – 15 Feb Buenos Aires
15 – 20 Feb Uruguay beach stop (flexible)   NB - I can get ferry straight to montevideo if ive already gone to colonia. Spend a day there (there is a beach there) and then just spend some days a beach town! IVE GOT plenty of buffer here so.    If anything slips, such as a cancelled flight or bad weather, shorten the beach stop and your flight home doesn't move.
20 Feb Fly home from Montevideo or BA
