Has anyone had this brooch? What time frame would you estimate for it?

sMy grandmother recently showed me this brooch which she bought off an antiquarian friend decades ago. Can anyone ID the two marks visible on the metal? What type of metal is it (gold, silver or something else?) Anyone has any idea whats the era or approximate date of this brooch?

I love it! Just received it and haven’t worn it yet. Joan Rivers turquoise lizard.

Vintage things like these are like magic or something… each one has seen so much and I love that aspect.

I have been collectiong for sometime now so i started putting my collection online, my jewelry is fairly priced and comes with a free historical art print sticker:)

Ive always loved this art but ive noticed how small the crowd is. Any one have suggestions to get more people into brooches?
