VA vs. Remote Worker, Anong difference?

Im remotely working full time with a Job I got from onlinejobs.ph, does that make me a virtual assistant already? But from the looks of what I do in the job and considering my position has a name, I dont really think I'm a Virtual Assistant at all. What's the line that determines if one is a Virtual Assistant and if one is someone who's working from home?

Hiring for a Marketing Analyst & Ops

Our organization is a trailblazer in job search strategies and employment verification, offering innovative solutions for candidates navigating today’s challenging hiring landscape. We are growing quickly, and need someone to accelerate our uplift.

This is a marketing role for someone who thinks like an analyst, more spreadsheets and dashboards than copy and content calendars. You'll track campaign performance, maintain our reporting, coordinate marketing logistics, and test ideas against the numbers rather than assume.

We'd rather hire someone who says "I haven't done this before, but here's how I'd figure it out" than someone who claims expertise they don't have. Early in your analytical journey but genuinely curious? Apply. We care more about how you think than your title history.

Should I leave my current work and risk doing VA job?

Hello! I’m 25F preggy and manganganak na this September. A bit of background sa career ko, 3 years na akong finance sa corporate. I started part time sa kanila kasi di pa ako graduate hanggang sa naging full time na din me. Now na pregnant ako nag request ako mag part time ulit but WFH na 3x a week lang ako pumapasok and I asked them for 900/day. Ang sahod ko po before is 22,000 tapos naging 27,000 na before ako maging preggy. The work is okay and kaya ko naman ihandle kahit may baby na siguro, pero I also want to grow and try mag VA kasi higher pay. Most of my tasks po is bookkeeping, tax compliance and accounting.

Balikan ko pa po ba sila after my maternity leave or should I let go and risk na sa VA?

Role Summary

LexNavi is seeking a dedicated Remote Legal Assistant to manage client intake and follow-up for a Maryland-based law firm. This is a client-facing, phone-primary role. The right candidate is the first point of contact for prospective clients — gathering information accurately, communicating professionally, and moving leads through the intake process reliably.

This role requires someone who can represent the firm with confidence, speak clearly and professionally in English, and handle sensitive conversations with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

Client Intake

  • Answer inbound calls from prospective clients promptly and professionally
  • Conduct structured intake conversations to gather complete client information
  • Record intake data accurately into the firm's case management system
  • Identify urgency and escalate time-sensitive matters to the attorney immediately

Follow-Up

  • Follow up with prospective clients who have not yet scheduled or completed intake

  • Send follow-up emails and make follow-up calls on a defined schedule
  • Maintain clear notes on all client interactions in the firm's system

Administrative Support

  • Schedule consultations between prospective clients and the attorney
  • Confirm and remind clients of upcoming appointments

  • Maintain intake pipeline organization and flag gaps or bottlenecks

Requirements

  • Excellent spoken English — clear, neutral, professional accent; confident on the phone with U.S. clients
  • Legal background — prior experience in a law firm, legal administrative role, paralegal work, or legal studies (law school, paralegal coursework)
  • Strong verbal communication skills — able to hold professional phone conversations without sounding scripted
  • Reliable, distraction-free home office setup with stable internet connection
  • Available 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM EST, Monday–Friday without schedule conflicts
  • Strong attention to detail — intake information must be accurate and complete
  • Comfortable with case management or CRM tools (training provided on firm-specific platform)

Strongly Preferred

  • Prior experience in estate planning, family law, or probate
  • Experience handling client intake in a U.S. law firm (remote or in-person)
  • Familiarity with Clio or similar legal case management platforms
  • Understanding of attorney-client confidentiality and privilege basics

Employment Terms & Benefits

Work Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM EST, Monday–Friday with 1 hr lunch break
  • Monthly salary of ₱65,000

Holidays

  • U.S. federal holidays observed

Incentives

  • End-of-year / Christmas bonus, at the firm's discretion based on performance

Tools & Equipment

  • Firm-specific software and systems (e.g., case management/CRM platform) provided by the client law firm
  • The candidate is expected to provide a reliable computer, stable internet connection, and a quiet home office setup for phone-based work.

What This Role Is Not

  • This is not a drafting or legal research role
  • This is not a general virtual assistant position
  • This person does not provide legal advice or legal opinions to clients
  • This is not a part-time or flexible-hours position — EST availability is required

Application Requirements

  • Resume/CV
  • 60–90 second English video (No script). Introduce yourself, briefly describe your legal or law-firm experience, and tell us why you're interested in a client-facing role.

How do yall actually learn tools without getting hired?

I keep seeing these software tools like Shopify, GoHighLevel, Klaviyo, and the like. But my problem is a lot of these tools aren't free for learning and experimenting, they need paid plans, organizations, businesses, or stores to be actually used. There's not a lot of entry-level VA jobs that actually teach you these tools so I'm wondering how do ya'll learn without getting hired? Is it just pure tutorial videos with no freedom to experiment with the software?

[HIRING] Logistics Dispatcher / Coordinator — remote, European freight company

Hiring for a client of mine, a freight transport company in Europe. Looking for a Filipino VA based in PH.

The role is dispatching. You'd be keeping an eye on where the trucks are and what's available, finding loads on Trans.eu and Timocom, working out the revenue per km, talking to drivers and customers, negotiating rates, checking orders and paperwork, and collecting CMR/POD docs.

It starts with training, then you move up to suggesting loads, then making calls with some oversight, and eventually running 2–3 trucks on your own. There's room to grow into a Senior Dispatcher or Team Lead down the line.

Hours are 9 a day, 5 days a week, and you'd need to overlap with UK/GMT time. Pay is $850–$1000/mo depending on experience, with a paid trial to start.

Your English has to be solid written and spoken, you need to be comfortable with numbers, good on a computer, and detail-oriented. The drivers mostly speak Romanian but that's handled with templates and translation tools, so you don't need the language.

If it sounds like you, send an email to xmeeka52@gmail.com with a quick introduction message.
