Voli Jgl Items (Nash + DnD)

Plat jungle main here. Ever since the changes to DnD the first item spike feels less significant and I've been trying new first items on Voli. DnD into Navori is still the best 2 item combo but Navori build path is awkward with its only benefit being Jack stats. Even when ahead, having 1.5 items vs a 1 item jungle isn't necessarily winning. Nashors offers no HP but the AS and AH stack lethal tempo and proc sheen more often, pairing well with DnD. Your 2 item spike isnt quite as strong but the 0-2 path feels much stronger for farming and dueling and most games are determined during these initial 12-15 minutes. The healing from DnD also means that you can safely build it after nash even if your team needs frontline as you will proc the passive several times in a skirmish.

2 Hour Complete Volibear Guide by Challenger Volibear

Hey Guys, I'm Hybradge a 6 season Challenger Player and the consistently highest Ranked Voli main in the world. In this video I go extremely in-depth and cover every single thing I know or have learned about Volibear in the past 12 years of playing him.

I honestly think Volibear is one of the most underrated jungle picks in the game and people often overlook him because his winrate isn't as high as it used to be, but a huge reason Voli Jungle has a low winrate is because people build and play incorrectly and I think this video will help solve it.

In this video I cover:

  • Why play volibear
  • Strengths
  • Weaknesses
  • Ability Rundown
  • In-Depth Mechanics
  • Combos
  • Ganking + Diving
  • 3 Pathings Explained
  • Early Game
  • Mid Game
  • Late Game (Playing from behind)
  • Teamfighting
  • Stat Priorities (What Stats you want)
  • Item Tierlist + Build Guide
  • Runes
  • First Clears
  • Ban + Jungle Pet
  • Team Comp (When to pick Voli)

It is made for jungle but helpful for both toplane and jungle bears until the early game section , stat priority part and item tierlist is also useful for toplane mains.

What can i do after winning lane?

What do you do after winning your lane with Volibear top? I'm Gold 4 and I know almost all the matchups and I always win my lane, but I don't know what to do with all the advantage. Should I splitpush or help my team? Thanks a lot.

Finally Plat4 JG

Been playing on and off since around 2010. Finally figured I should start reviewing my games and watching coaching vids which I then incorporated into my gameplay. Hit plat4 with Valhir!

Better build than current?

I came across guy who's making youtube videos and streaming and he s making content about his builds that are superior to others and you can climb with his build easily so I was wondering if his build could work than current build ? I had like 5 or 7 games with this build and it a pretty good in my opinion i survived most of the time and he s going grasp -shield bash second wind- revitalize and second runes triumph and last stand

What's the reason AD isn't preferred? May be placebo but I always feel less squishy when I goi Tri Force

Admittedly I haven't played a huge amount of Voli but he supposedly works well into champs I don't like so I'm trying to play him more. But whenever I build Dusk and Dawn I feel so insanely squishy and get beaten down hard. So I try going Trinity Force and, as I say maybe it's placebo, but I feel less squishy. Then I go Shojin and some armour and it feels way better to me than DnD.

Is there any discernible reason why you shouldn't be going Tri Force/AD? I know his kit got changed so he scales with AD more so I'm wondering why it's not a build path people try much is all. I get DnD has an additional heal now... idk. Like I say. I think it's placebo effect.

Anything you have to say helps!

Similar champs

I play jgl in low elo. One trick Voli, what are some champs that have similar play style that I should learn or be able to pick up pretty quickly. This isn't a "best jgl champs in low elo" question, just similar champs to Voli - good ganks, great dueling, decent clear

Training to be Voli Main

yo guys, after being away from League for years i randomly decided to come back and one-trick Volibear top (seems like the most based role for him tbh)

been trying to figure out runes/builds and there’s SO much different stuff now, so i wanted to ask the real voli enjoyers here:

what are the best builds/item paths rn? when do you go tank/bruiser/ap or whatever? also any good streamers/youtube channels that actually explain voli mechanics and matchups instead of just posting clickbait stomp games?

thanks fellow volibros 🐻⚡
