Updating maps data

Hey guys

I have a 2015 C200. The map data on it is quite old. Is it possible for me to update the maps by myself, or do I need to take it to a dealership (and pay the same amount that the car is worth)?

C220d NOX/O2 faults

Hi guys,

My 2019 C220d has popped 3 faults simultaneously, I initially tried adding the special solution to the adblue system to breakdown any crystals that might have formed but that didn't help, the fault disappeared for about 2 months, later on it came back so I actually replaced the NOX sensor for a brand new one (on the right side, closer to the front), I cleared the codes and it seemed all good and now roughly 250km later it came back on.

I'm really worried of a wiring harness issue as these are awful to work on but I was wondering if anyone has had that issue happen to them and how did they solve it?

Buying advice - 2018-2021 W205

I am considering purchasing a Mercedes C class, probably one from around 2018 onwards.

I have done some research and I understand that a lot of people say that the post facelift versions from around 2019 onwards have a higher build quality standard than the pre-facelift models. And I guess that a few of the initial teething problems from the series would’ve been ironed out in the facelift.

However, I am not finding that many post facelift secondhand C class Cars in my price range, and I was wondering whether there is such a big difference between a late pre-facelift car from say 2018 compared with a post facelift car from say 2019 or 2020.

What do you all think about that?

I would be grateful for any input from the Reddit W205 community.

Weird sound coming when I turn the wheel.

Hey guys.

I recently noticed a weird sound then I’m in drive with my foot on the brakes and I turn the wheel. I noticed I have to press the brakes really really hard in order for that to stop making the weird noises. It doesn’t happen while I’m driving or the car is in park, or neutral. I recently replaced the brakes, rotors and pads with original parts. I don’t recall if the car made those sounds prior.

Is this a common thing with the w205 C43 AMG?

Currently running lowered on Godspeed springs. Want some alternatives that are less noisy
