pls help
Hi, I'm new here and I'm writing from a translator. Can anyone help? Is this a bad sound? It's coming from cylinder 4. As always, fresh build: EJ257 Type RA 2018, B25 heads, OEM gasket, resurfacing 0.05, FBK 0, FBKL 0, DAM 1.000

Late to the posting party but here's my ride.
The interior is a really nice touch. Always wanted this car when I was younger and so it's nice to have fun with it now.
Best part for me is the on-ramps to the 401. Taking the ramp section holding on to 2nd gear, touch the straight section and just blllaaasssstt offfff.
Down here in South Western Ontario, so if anyone is close by give me a shout and we can go for a drive.
Over the last few months I’ve been dealing with a small issue of misfires and honestly I thought I figured it out by the tuning being bad and retuning it and letting the idle learn and it seemed to be fine for a while then I’d have to do it a couple more times about once a week. Now I’m having this problem every day and can’t figure out the problem. For background information it was a cylinder misfire in 3 first then 1 then 3 then back to 1 then 2 and now on 3 and back to 2. So it is legitimately all over the place, I’ve gotten a small hint of maybe have to do with filling my tank up with gas and it happening afterwards. But maybe not and I’m making things up in my head. Any help is appreciated but it will run fine for while cold and be fine for 3-4 miles down the road then it has problems. I can let it sit for a while and come back and it’s fine again. Please help if you have any information, my uncle who is a general tech said check evap system like charcoal canister or purge valves, but he’s a general tech on all cars so not a specialist. Let’s be clear to I’m under the assumption there are brand new plugs and coils that are less then 20k miles old.
Full repaint in factory JBP, carbon fiber roof, new moldings everywhere. Off to PPF before getting it back to finish off the new interior upgrades.
Was unaware that gauge face was removable till this exact moment.
Hey gang!!
I was thinking about purchasing an OTS tune from Bader. It seems that he has a good reputation in the community as far as building and tuning within the Subaru platform. I mentioned this to a buddy of mine and he was urging me to be cautious as oftentimes what's shown on social, or youtube isn't what it seems and he stated as much people that have had good experiences with him, there's also a good amount of people who have had bad experiences with him.
So I figured I'd take it to reddit and get everyone's thoughts, or experiences.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read.
I want to buy a sti 2011 but its not completely stock it has a the exhaust system modified, downpipe, midpipe and catback and a ecu tune. Im a little bit curious because i want to know if i should avoid it and wait for another completely stock or if its ok to buy it with that mods.
To preface this has been my (realistic) dream car since I was a little girl. Last summer after months of searching, I found my baby. Pearl white 2016 STi in amazing condition. It bought it for 26k. Before yall crucify me, I paid that much for a 9 year year old car because it only had 54k miles on it and the dealer put a brand new clutch in it. I had it inspected as well, great condition. Engine was completely unmodified with the exception of an air oil separator. I took great care of her, full take of premium, no crazy pulls constantly, oil change every 3000 miles, kept motul in the truck and checked levels every gas refill. 3 months into having her, I blew a hole in my engine block. Was devastating emotionally and financially. Spent 18k on a brand new oem engine. Many people were confused why I made this decision. “Why wouldn’t you have just got a new car?” they asked. But at this point I still owed 23k on the loan, so I would have been making payments for nothing, on top of payments on a the new car. Luckily enough, my parents were nice enough to pay for half of it so I fixed it.
Fast forward to now and I have decided it’s time to let her go. I recently made the decision to move to New York to go to auto technician school. I don’t need a car there, and I could easily save enough money to move there by the end of the year if I no longer have to pay for insurance/car payments/gas/ maintenance/ etc. I looked up how much a dealer would give me for my car, and it was only about 18k. I feel like this is because there’s no option to explain that there is a brand new OEM engine with only 10k miles in it. So my question is, how much do you think I could get for this? Is it possible to get more than what a dealer is offering? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Also wanna say, this car was my absolute pride and joy. Anyone that knows me knows how much I loved this car. This is really hard to do but I wanna make sure I can get as much as I can for it(,:
Guys I thought I had covered the intake manifold ports enough and it had been raining for the past couple weeks. I went today to work on the car and the ports had water in them. I vacuumed it out. Should I take out the engine again to check if any rust has occurred on the pistons/cylinder walls or if any water made it through? I was thinking of taking the engine out and putting a camera through the spark plug holes to check.
Bought the car last year with 83k miles and I’m currently at 102k. Has been running the Cobb stage 1+ OTS tune but just yesterday got a new tune for the car put it on and everything was going well the car felt a lot smoother with it, but this morning on my way to work the car lost power and my dam dropped to .138 and the fine knock learn was at a -11. I pulled over and reflashed to the stage 1+ tune and I could hear a knocking sound only when I was off the throttle. Continued on my way to work (I was about 5 mins from work) and the knocking sound got worse, finally made it to work and when I parked I could hear the knocking sound. I’m pretty sure she’s done, I believe I got a warranty with the dealer I got it from and should still be active.
What are my next options?
