Went to a card show with my brother and made a trade to get this and a little money on top my way way. Also had a cool little moment at the show, Buff Bagwell was there (had no clue he was gonna be there) I wasn’t able to get an auto or pic with him cus I’m injured and off work. After a 10 minute conversation, I asked if he wanted to open some packs of cards I had brought with me and he said sure. He never opened packs of cards in his life and he said he had fun doing it. He was a genuine person and super down to earth.

Best Buy had 1 blaster and the guy had to get it out of the back storage. Was pleasantly shocked. Now I need to figure out what to do with it, sell, grade, or hold. Any suggestions

I'm not a card buy by any stretch of the imagination and while I have a ton of signed stuff, like a bunch of Canadian wrestlers (Bret, Jericho, and a wrestler who shall not be named) who signed a Canadian flag (sadly, the flag was awful quality) and even the Rock's book, this card means the most to me.

The backstory is crazy to me. And feel free to ignore this part...

I've been a wrestling fan since 1988 and in middle school my mom let me skip school to go to a Mick Foley autograph session. Sadly the signature on the t-shirt I had him sign has gone to sh*t. But while waiting in line my blood sugar was dropping and as a diabetic I forgot to bring something with me so I got out of the line and went to the closest convenience store to grab something. While checking out I noticed the cards and figured why not and picked up a pack. I didn't open it until I got home and honestly I didn't think much of it. I took a tack and pinned it to this board I had. (I had enough sense to not put the tack in the card itself but a plastic sleeve.)

Less than a week after this happen our apartment was robbed and while they stole pretty much everything from our VCR to my laptop and my mom's jewelry down to clothes they had taken this card but somehow dropped it in the hallway. I actually noticed it in the hallway when I came home from school before I went to our apartment and noticed we'd been robbed. Then a few years after that our place got flooded and whatever we had left and new items we bought were destroyed yet I had accidentally left this card at my dad's place. (My parent's were divorced.)

It's 7:35am as I'm writing this and I've been going through a lot and couldn't sleep. I was just mopping around and thought I'd go through this box with a bunch of old photos and random items from my childhood. I found this and had completely forgotten about it.

While I have no intention of selling this I noticed PSA is coming to an event near me next month and figured I'd go and get it graded.

Picked up some cards from a small local expo

Saw other people getting good luck in Universe Mega boxes, so picked up a few from a card store in Brisbane.

Got a Godfather and Tony D autos, but got my first ever 1/1.

The store owner said that its the third 1/1 they have had just from the Universe set alone

Got my KO redemption this morning. Absolutely love the patch I got

Just got this in the mail today! Geeked to have the card, let alone first on the print.
