During Friday Night SmackDown in Columbia, South Carolina, Gunther defeated 6-foot-2 powerhouse Royce Keys in a sudden No. 1 contender's match set up by GM Nick Aldis after Keys interrupted a contract signing.

Keys rejected interference from Solo Sikoa and put up a fierce fight with clotheslines and powerslams, but Gunther sealed the win with a powerbomb.

Post-match, Rhodes hit Gunther with a Cross Rhodes, setting up their Undisputed WWE Championship clash on May 31 at Clash in Italy in Turin.

Bleacher Report named Roman Reigns the top male superstar for his big win over CM Punk and brewing Bloodline tensions, with a Backlash defense against Jacob Fatu ahead.

Rhea Ripley earned the No. 1 women's spot after dethroning Cargill, as challengers like Charlotte Flair line up.
