More ball trails and hole celebrations = easy $$ for Mighty Coconut.

Regarding MC layoffs and cash flow, I find it really strange that MC doesn't just do some easy low hanging fruit $ strategies like ball trails and hole celebrations. They have to be relatively easy to develop yet they can charge $1.99 to $2.99 for each one. I know I would buy em, and everyone I play with either friends or strangers all buy them too. It's almost like releasing a new course. Their existing user base would eat that up just like a new course drop. And boom! Lots of cash for MC for not a lot of time or work. I'm honestly shocked they are not doing this. Can someone please explain why? And if someone from MC is reading this, can you maybe explain why? This seems way too logical and it's hurting my brain why this isn't done.

What is the best way for a PCVR user with a steam frame to play with others if none of my friends play VR? I had an Index for a year 6 years ago, had to sell it due to reasons but was now able to get my hands on a steam frame and bought the Whole in One Bundle.

I tried using the quick match option but couldn't find a game for about 30 minutes so I had to stop cause this is basically the battery life of the steam frame /s

Nah but for real, I wasn't able to play multiplayer yet.
Game has only 85 players per day according to SteamDB.
Do I have to LFG in this game via discord and add people?

I rather just play some casually rounds and see if I can meet some nice people before I add them to my friendlist.
It's hard for me to meet new people and I am not keen on talking a lot to strangers at first.

Any help would be appreciated

Edit: Why am I getting downvoted? I am looking for the option to play multiplayer, whats bad about that?

Hand tracking is coming to Walkabout with the Xylodon course. Should it be allowed in competitive games?

Spotted this earlier and couldn't see anyone had posted it here yet. The Escape from Planet Xylodon course is out on the 8th, and apparently it comes with an experimental hand tracking option on Quest. It sits in the settings menu next to your avatar in the welcome shack.

Good Virtual Reality got an early go on it and says there are two ways to play. One is pinch to putt, where you line up and pinch to hit. The other has you hold your hand like you're gripping a controller and a club just appears in it. You can also pinch and drag to turn on the spot or warp to your ball. What got my attention is the competitive angle. The reviewer reckons pinch to putt feels a bit like cheating because it shows you where the ball is going to go. If that's true, it's a massive aid compared to eyeballing a shot, and I can't see how that works in a tournament or league. Grip mode seems closer to normal controller play, so maybe that one's fine? Then again, if it lets people play who can't comfortably use controllers, that's a pretty good reason to allow some version of it.

I run Walkabout Weekly (walkaboutweekly.com), a community site for Walkabout players with tournaments and leagues, so I'm going to have to decide what to do about this for our events. Keen to hear what other people think before I do. If you play competitively, or fancy giving it a go, come and check out the site and see what we've got on.
