Wardancer painted for a group challenge. We all tackled the same miniature to see how different everyone's version would turn out
Made primarily from the Visarch kit with all the Dark Eldar looking bit trimmed off.
Finished painting my Stag lord tonight. Took me longer than expected, but I'm quite pleased with the result. Let's see how he'll fare on the table
I’m aware that stag lord or dragon lord are the primary meta pick for a general, but I bought Araloth mostly because he was plastic and therefore easier to paint.
He lacks any sort of customization but seems decent enough for his point cost.
Any tips for using him on the table? And units he complements more than others?
Cheers
Hi all, I am located in Michigan USA and have been searching for Elvandar pictured here. If anyone has one that they are willing to sell please let me know!!
Hey guys, hope you're well. Getting back into the hobby after a long hiatus of 20ish years. Building an army list so that I can plan my purchases/painting towards it. After some theory-crafting, this is what I have come up with - any feedback on changes or tactics would be extremely welcome. Thanks!

Trying to find a way to beef up this guy to support my warhawk riders. I have 35 pts left.
Stag build seems to outshine the warhawk in every single term - so any advice?
Crown of antlers?
Talisman of Protection?
Orions Favour?
Aspect of Boar?

Hey brothers and sisters of athel loren. So, i got myself a wood elf army because i love elves of the old world and now i have some games under my belt, the thing is I'm getting stomped by pretty much anyone in my local store.
My usual game goes like this: a couple of turns of shooting followed by dying when my opponent gets to make its charges.
We have an ongoing campaign and this is my list. Maybe can you help me figure out how to bring out the best of the units?
234 - Glade Lord, Great Weapon, An Annoyance of Netlings, General, Great Stag, Talisman Of Protection
129 - Spellsinger, Elven Steed, Wizard Level 1, Elementalism, Ruby Ring of Ruin
135 - 10 Dryads, Nymph
120 - 10 Glade Guard, Arcane Bodkins
120 - 10 Glade Guard, Arcane Bodkins
132 - 6 Glade Riders, Arcane Bodkins, Ambushers, Reserve Move
153 - 3 Tree Kin
Thank you!
For this mini I used the upper body of Qulathis the Exile (Warhammer Cursed City) and combined her with a Glade Rider plus some other parts.
I wanted to create a dynamic pose. The original model is shooting while jumping back. I transformed this into a backward shooting position from the horse back.
For the paintjob I did all metallic surfaces using NMM including the freehand on the scabbard.
I recently got into Warhemmer and just made my first army list for Bretonnia. My wife wants to play also on the condition I make her army list. I know nothing about these guys so I'm struggling putting togther a list.
We're starting at 500 points and so far all I have is that I am using the Host of Talsyn and that the general is a Spellsinger riding a unicorn (a non-negotiable as once my wife figured this out there was no room to hear anything else out, the unicorn is everything to her) and sisters of the thorn. She also really like the creatures like dryads above standard elf units.
Any ideas for a list or a rough spread on what types of units I should bring? It needs to be prepared for lots of calvary since it's going to be face to face with Bretonnia a lot and I like my questing knights.
Any help is very appreciated, like I said I barely know the game and know nothing of the elves, other than the archers are really good.

Hello everyone, I’m entering a tournament, but I’m struggling with making a list at the 750pt list. Does anyone have a list they would suggest?
My friend and I are working out the lore for his Bretonnians and my Woodelves and why they'd be in conflict. I don't know enough about Oldworld lore to place my faction, but it should be near Bretonnian territory. So my hopes for this post:
Where would make sense for these Elves to exist, and if you have any ideas you think would be cool for this faction I'd love to hear them.
My pitch: Scattered villages who cooperate for their survival, they are coastal elves who live in a redwood forest (see: Muir Woods / Endor). He was nice enough to buy me Araloth, incorporating him would be cool.
In our heads, the Brettonians would be attempting to harvest some of these Sequoias, which the Woodelves have named individually as they are all extremely old growth, so battles around logging camps, sawmills, and beaches would be the setting.
I'm planning on using the Stag cavalry. If I end up incorporating Treemen, I'd paint them as Redwoods.
The color scheme is a light ocean blue(main) , a sandy beige (armor), sequoia red(weapons), and a fern green(trim).
Thanks Everyone! Excited to be a part of this setting.
My heavily kitbashed Glade Lord model, meant to represent a Great-Stag mounted noble. I got to use her in a game a few days ago: she managed to kill an Empire Griffon General with a runefang with assistance from a mage.
