ID Help, Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia

These guys just fruited in the past 24-48 hours, been some consistent rain in these parts for the past couple of weeks. The stems are a lot more woody/hard than what I’m used to. They’re waxy/slimy, it’s still raining and they do bruise (more then what has seems to have already occurred) when squeezed. I’m also not really seeing the typical “nipple” that comes with the good kind so I’m dubious as to what they’re. a couple of different variety of mushroom have already come up from this mulch from autumn through to now, but I have “seeded” various places round the garden with previous seasons pickings, from another region, with both spores and mycelium. So naturally I’m curious. Any ideas? Should I just leave them for the bugs? If you want better more specific shots to help with id’ing let me know. This region has an abundance of variety when it comes to fungi, so it’s fun to know wand explore what’s here. Especially if they’re culinary.

Help with searching

I’m aware this might be against the rules, so please tell me if it is and I’ll take it down.

I’m hoping some kind soul can take me out picking for an afternoon, and show me what I’m looking for. I live in Castlemaine (central Victoria, Australia) and I’ve heard that there are subs in the area, but I’ve never had the confidence or knowledge to find them. I’m not looking for a major score, just enough to help this depressed 35yr old have a successful hunt.

I totally understand if this is not an acceptable post, and I’m sorry if I’ve crossed a line. But anyone who thinks they might be able to help, please DM me. Love you all

P.sub in a tub

Colonised a brown rice grain jar with spores from a P.sub I found.
Colonised well, I then transferred it into a tub full of soaked hardwood chips that are over a year old.
Was planning on leaving this inside and closed until it is fully colonised, but shortly I was planning on combining this outdoors with other soaked mulch, in a shady spot and let nature do the rest, keeping it moist during dry patches.

If anyone has any other ideas or advice, I’m all ears

What are these growing in my succulents?

Noticed at least two different kinds of fungi growing underneath this hanging pot, through drainage holes about a month ago. They’re slowly getting bigger

South Eastern Victoria, Australia.

August (late winter)

Today for the first time I noticed the bigger fellas up top with the succulents. Anyone have any idea what they are?

Best photos I could take at the moment without pulling them out

Could someone id these please? Aus Nsw

Was given these but have no experience with them, i asked my mate what they were and was told they are "good ones but can cause paralysis if you take too much" which didn't answer my question and also worried me a bit, any assistance would be awesome thanks.

I doubt I'll ever be sure enough

I doubt I'll ever be sure enough of myself to identify ANY mushroom especially these wavy cap ones.

I've been going walking on my way to work recently as I drive through an area which is mixed National Park / Forestry (Pine) and Forestry (mixed Bush - Pine) , this is for health reasons and because I'm trying to reconnect to something my dad , brother and I used to do.

I've taken photo's of lots of mushrooms / moss / lichen / flowers (I love the 'little world' it's more interesting to me than the big stuff that's around.

As I've been doing this I've been thinking it would be great to forage for both culinary and pyschonautic reasons but I just dont get how you all can actually tell, granted I've not seen any I thought were promising yet but even if I did I think I'd be too worried about misidentifying them.

Grandpa used to take us mushrooming for cooking mushrooms and, Dad knows about the wavies but I guess I just don't have their confidence.

Are there any 'hot tips' for new people out there, places that discuss prime habitat identification and techniques fornidentifying fruiting bodies?

Are these all Subaeruginosa?

Only pics I have before I dried them under a fan, this was about a month ago, they dried pretty quickly and I just took about a gram with lemon tek but I instantly got a massive stomach ache hope there’s no gallerina hiding in there
