I purchase this living spore cultivation tube(LC) online name Jim frost but when it grow it become green gillette.
Looks similarly to the vomit maker green gillered parallelasol that contains stomach viruses.
Did I get scampered?

what’s the best way to disposal without touching it or inhalation of the pollen they drop thanks 🙏
Scared of catching it’s virus
Only pics I have before I dried them under a fan, this was about a month ago, they dried pretty quickly and I just took about a gram with lemon tek but I instantly got a massive stomach ache hope there’s no gallerina hiding in there
Step 1: Blend mushrooms as finely as possible.
Step 2: Untie and empty some or all of the tea from a tea bag, add the ground mushrooms, and tie it securely.
Step 3: Fill a mug, cup or jar with lemon juice, add the tea bag and steep for 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4: Mix sugar with hot water in a separate cup and stir until dissolved — about 10 g sugar per 50mL of water.
Step 6: Remove the tea bag, combine the lemon juice with the sugar water and ice, and enjoy. 🍋🧊
Optional: add blue food colouring
significantly darker colour to every other grain in the bag and particularly elongated as well.
looks exactly like ergot to me.
A bit far gone some maybe inedible but I don’t plan on eating anytime soon. What a find in such a public place, was barely even looking for 5 minutes and these showed up in the open.
Hello everyone!
I’m currently visiting from Queensland and would love to legally observe some of Tasmania’s native fungi in their natural habitat without disturbing or collecting any specimens, particularly Psilocybe Subaeruginosa.
Back home I’m used to coming across Panaeolus cyanescens and Psilocybe cubensis, but we don’t have the wood-loving varieties like Subaeruginosa up north, so seeing them in the wild has been on my bucket list.
I’m an avid forager and comfortable identifying common and some uncommon species such as P. Sub, Larry’s, Gallerinas, Amanitas etc. although I’ve never actually had the opportunity to see them growing naturally.
If anyone could recommend a good area to explore, I’d really appreciate it. Even better, if there are any experienced mycologists or savvy locals who’d be keen to take me out for a walk, come foraging or show me some spots, feel free to chuck me a message. Would be great to learn from someone like-minded with experience finding woody fungi or even just someone who knows where to look.
Cheers, Hobart!
DISCLAIMER: This post is about observing fungi in their natural environment only. I’m NOT asking for advice about collecting, consuming, or engaging in any illegal activity.
Anyone know where to forage for subs in Tasmania this time of year? Cheers
Hey all, visiting from north qld. Back home, I’m an avid forager and would consider myself a self titled amateur mycologist lol.
Im used to foraging for cubensis and cyanescens at home and I have no trouble with properly identifying.
Does anyone know where to forage for some Subaeruginosa around Tassie?
I don’t mind where, as I’m up for a road trip but anywhere closer to Launceston or Hobart would be great.
I know there hasn’t been much rainfall recently but would be good to know the spots or a general location idea. Cheers.
