I have a mule deer herd with about 6 animals, only 1 male(94%) and the rest are females. Should i cull the 25% female?

The ability to see your stats, have things tracked and progression are really important for me in a video game.

For those of you that have played this game, how is it in regards to those things I just listed?

I currently play the hunter call of the wild, although I do enjoy the game occasionally it feels a bit dead and pointless to me, I dont like the idea of just running around looking for a good animal, I like the concept of genetics herd management etc that way of the hunter has, but I am unsure about whether I should but woth 1 or wait for woth 2. I play on xbox so I cant just play the woth 2 beta, and I dont want to drop money on a game just to have to buy #2 in a few months.

I'm on console so WOTH2 isn't an option yet

Is it only me that gets stuck in the truck and forced to exit to main to get out?

Just came across way of the hunter and was wondering if the game could be played with a focus on camera / drone mode only?

I'm not into hunting but my 8 year old daughter loves animals and an open world game to explore and take photos is something she enjoys. She's done a bit of it on a Nintendo switch game and enjoyed it but this looks more realistic and not so cartoony which I think she'd have fun expiring with me on weekends through the summer.

Would it be fun or obviously not the under of the game so maybe won't work well?

I heard part 2 of the game came out as well...? Which to get?

So, I saw this game a few days ago and have been reading and watching reviews, looking at screenshots. Soon I understood that I need to buy it. When I was searching about editions and DLCs I saw Wild Expedition and thought that it would be interesting to visit more locations than in standart edition. So does buying Wild Expidition worth it or standart edition would be enough.

Also I want to say that I've never played hunting games before, so I don't have experience in hunting, but I'm pretty interested in guns and wildlife, so I think I'll enjoy this game.

I would like to see visible wounds on animals you’ve hit. If you shoot an animal and it survives it would be nice when you find the animal again you could see where you hit it or if the animal although will survive is showing signs it is wounded so you could pick the animal from the heard. I would also like to see the time date included with the shot information so if you shot the animal a week before you see it was shot before you know when. Sometimes I shoot an animal and when I recover it I see it showing 2 shots but I only shot it once. I realized once it was weeks because I hadn’t used the bow in that long and that’s what the 1st shot was with.

Anyone else getting the blue ping marker icon stuck on their screen? Only way I can remove it is by going to the main menu. I assume it’s a bug from the last update?

So I am playing WoTH2 of gfn on my 55" tv. The game is awesome. But man am I struggling to make out the teeny tiny text, sound indicators etc on the in-game screen. Even the map is hard to make out some detail. Is it just me getting old and the eyes are going or are these features a bit small for console-like tv play?

To be fair, when I play GFN/WoTH2 on the Meta Quest 3 I dont have the same issues, and WoTH1 on the same tv I dont have any issues. Would love to hear what you guys think.

Hi, i'm looking for a good hunting game to play after really enjoying my time hunting in RDR2. Way of the hunter 2 really peaks my interest because of beautiful graphics and zero amount of dlcs needed atm compared to Call of the Wild.

However, when I read steam reviews, there are many mixed reviews regarding the performances and bugs. My rig is nothing too crazy, RTX4060 laptop so I wonder if the game is stable enough performance-wise and gameplay-wise for my PC.

I'm considering between WotH2 and CotW Hunting Pro Bundle because they are in similar price point atm. Please give me some advice if you have played both games.
