Rebooted the game after I noticed all my tents were gone, hoping that’d fix it (it did not). Logged back in and realized I forgot to close the window. ;)
Was walking along a river and knew he was nearby by about 150 yds and went about my business trying to get to a campground. Heard steps and wasn’t sure if it was him or the hares that were running all over the place until I saw him ~20yds. Really glad I keep slugs in my shotgun
Now that genetics of females animals is presented, should I be hunting low fitness females to try to get higher genetics in my herds?
Rendering distance and being able to view animals from a distance in this game is impressive
It would be great if the game tracked and displayed lifetime statistics page showing your overall hunting history, similar to a personal hunting journal.

Just wondering what people’s experiences are like with the waterfowl and turkey hunting. I’ve always liked waterfowl hunting in the first game so I was excited to try it out in the new game but I just can’t seem to hit anything out of the air, they fly in to land right on top of me and I’ll empty the whole gun but they just fly off. I don’t know if I just suck or there’s something wrong with hit registration but it’s frustrating. I also haven’t unlocked a 12g yet but I tried the 28g and the 20g with and without the choke attachment. Hopefully I’m not the only one with this issue.
