Our neighbor's dog got scared by fireworks tonight and bolted. We are on the northern end of Weaverville off the Flat Creek 17 exit around Upper Flat Creek Rd. Her name is Marge and the owners' contact information is on her collar. They've also filled out a missing dog report with the humane society. Please keep your eyes out for her if you can, thanks!

Wondering if anyone else ended up with a garden full of pokeweed to pull after purchasing compost in North Asheville/Weaverville this spring? Maybe the seeds were planted via bird poop but there is really a lot of it everywhere I spread the compost... grateful for the rain this weekend that made them easier to pull!
