I have multiple signs on my house saying “No soliciting, do not knock or ring doorbell”. Some kid from google fiber is POUNDING on my door at 7 o clock. When I asked him what he was doing he told me he’s a “utility” and that doesn’t apply to him. He is “making my house worth more”. Has anyone experienced the disrespectful antagonizing from this curly haired kid? I said come on man it’s 7 o clock he goes “AND”? Why can’t solicitors read the signs? This is the second time today after my calls in the middle of the day were interrupted by some exterior window cleaning company. Does anyone have an effective way to prevent getting knocks and doorbell rings? Our community has no soliciting posted on the entrance to the area as well.

My house cleaner is retiring and I am in need of a cleaner for my home. 2,400sq ft, main floor plus basement. Would love to support a small business over a chain. Thanks in advanced!

Anyone know where or through what channels Westminster sells off retired muncipal vehicles? I see what appears to be a bundle of them that have been de-badged and ready for sale maybe? I know I could probably just call and ask, I just forget to every day.

It was in the north sky, slowly moving north. It had a faint glow around it. It was not like a star with a crisp clear light, but like a star behind high atmosphere clouds. All the other stars in the sky were clear. It moved like a satellite in the sky, I swear I saw pieces braking off behind it, then it disappeared. Never saw anything like it. No I am not on dr*gs.

Hey everyone! I’m looking to make some extra money during my free time, so I’m offering pickup truck hauling and general light handyman services around the Denver metro area.

I have a pickup with a 6-foot bed and can also tow a trailer for larger jobs. I can help with things like:

• Junk, furniture, appliances, and other general hauling

• Moving items locally

• Dump runs / cleanup jobs

• Drywall patching and minor repairs

• Installing or replacing interior door knobs

• Furniture assembly

• Small power-washing jobs (Driveways, patios, walkways)

I’m not a professional contractor, and I want to be upfront about that. That said, I’m pretty skilled and experienced with this kind of work. I also won’t accept a job unless I’m confident I can complete it safely, correctly, and to a high standard within the timeframe I promise. I don’t do plumbing or complex electrical work, and I won’t pretend I do. If something is outside my skill level, I’ll let you know rather than taking your money and figuring it out afterward.

I primarily service the Denver metro area, but I’m willing to travel farther for an additional fee depending on the distance and job. If you have something you need hauled, assembled, repaired, or taken care of around the house, feel free to send me a message with what you need done, where you’re located, and any relevant details/photos. I’m happy to give you an estimate and see if it’s something I can help with.

Edit: I can also do yardwork including fertilizing, weed control, cutting the grass, edging, trimming tree branches (10ft tall or shorter), etc. I can provide my own tools and chemicals for this service. I can also do dethatching and aerating.

FOR ANYONE WHO GOES TO CITY BARK

This issue was going on before July.

my dog came home with kennel cough after boarding over the July 4th weekend. We thought we had dealt with it but he then developed bronchitis, and is now currently battling pneumonia. That’s 3 rounds of antibiotics 3 vet visits, X-rays, blood work and over $1600 in vet biils.

I am not the only person whose dog has pneumonia from City Bark.

I understand there is an inherent risk using pet daycare……my point is the DELAY in transparency.

We want to inform you of a few cases of Canine Cough or Respiratory Illness, that we have encountered here at City Bark Thornton.

This can look like canine cough but has been a bit more aggressive in progression. Canine Cough is essentially a "cold" for dogs. They can catch it even if they have been vaccinated because there are so many different strains.

This bacterium can be very contagious and will present with coughing, making a honking sound when coughing and/or hacking up phlegm.

If you think your dog may have this respiratory illness, we recommend seeing your vet immediately as they will be able to take the necessary steps to treat them. We also ask that you please keep them home until they've ceased coughing.

Here at City Bark, we are very diligent about our cleaning and disinfecting practices. If we notice a dog is showing signs of Canine Cough or any respiratory illness, we will separate them from the play group immediately to prevent further spread of germs.

If your pup is boarding with us, we will be keeping a close eye on them as usual. We will inform you immediately if we suspect your dog has canine cough. We will ensure your dog is properly taken care of and is seen by a vet upon your consent.
