I know this reddit thread is for actual dogs. I figured it would be one of the best places for help!
Please and thank you!
?? he's my Lil Buddy, but he seems Big for a Chorkie. He's about 11 inches tall and 15 lbs.
Just under 5 months old and 16ish lbs. Pretty lanky and lean, 15 inches at the shoulder. Vet thinks she’ll be 35-40 lbs and 20-22 inches.
Super smart, loves to sniff. When she sees something, she has a sort of hunting dog stance with her legs stretched out behind her.
Other traits: Black streak on tail, very vocal with all sorts of noises, completely stretches out when she lies down.
Thanks!
TL;DR, she’ll be medium sized and sleek, has many hunting dog traits.
I’m thinking this rescue is boxer and German shepherd. Thoughts?
Got her from an old neighbor in a trailer park, he said pit bull (and one of her siblings def had red nose colors but possibly different litters). She looks like a coon hound to me, long legged and FAST AS HELL!! she hasn’t met an enemy but when someone knocks and mama is asleep she has a hella loud hound voice. She is awesome albeit dumb as all get out with a leash and anything that she can wrap it around lol
I saw this cutie pie at the shelter and I’m wondering what she could be mixed with. I know it’s hard to tell from the photos but I only took a video so I just took screenshots from it. I have cats so I’d like to avoid breeds with high prey drive if possible.
We know she’s a doberman, but trying to figure out what she’s mixed with. We weren’t sure about the white patch but now I’m thinking she’s mixed with a german shorthair pointer because her prey drive is sooooo high. She does the classic point pose too. Velcro dog, super docile and gentle. Obviously going to the DNA test soon.
What do you think?
I am very well aware of BC’s, but this pup is throwing me off. He is a sable Merle, and I was told he was a BC, though I believe a mix if anything. Possible Aussie or heeler mix? He is the father to my black tri aussie mix pup. Thanks for your help!
This is my dog simba, we think he’s an Australian shepherd possibly a red merle what are y’all’s thoughts?
We thought Kelpie but we have been told they aren't common in the US. Lots of similar dogs posted in ACD Reddit group. I'm too cheap to pay for a DNA test. She will be 10 in a couple of months so that is why her muzzle is graying. She is 45-50 lbs.
Hello! I got my pup back in may and I was told her parents were mom mini aussie and dad border collie/aussie mix. Only thing is everyone I know is saying she’s wayyy too tiny to be a collie, so I thought I would post her here and get some opinions:) (second pic is her parents)
My friend found him near a barn without anyone. Decided to take him in. Anyone know what breed he is? Maybe mixed or sum. (Seems healthy & friendly too).
This is my 10 week old lab mix Guillermo “Memo”. His mom is mostly lab with a bit of great pyrenees and husky. No idea what the dad is. Going to get a DNA test soon. Any ideas on what dad might be ?
I was even shocked when I got the results back so take a guess!!
Meet Winnie! She’s 15 1/2 weeks old and 16 pounds (I posted her on other threads but apparently my scale was busted and had her 2 pounds heavier than the vet did). I know it’s cliche to say I think she’s a retriever mix but her toes are real webbed and water doesn’t really seem to bother her. But other than that I have no clue. I feel like APBT/staffy is likely given she was a rescue but I also think her head is a little narrow for that. My dad is convinced there’s Rottweiler based on the brown on the backs of her legs. But I also feel like she’s too light at her age for any of those dogs. From scrolling this thread I know you can combine so many different dogs together to get a dog that looks like this and I’m soooooo impatient to learn what she is.
She likes digging and finding all sticks and she does like fetch but tug a war isn’t really her jam.
We would be further into our embark journey but FedEx delivered it to the wrong house lol.
Can anyone give me any insight on what breed they think this little guy is? We have no idea.. just rescued him and are impatiently awaiting dna test results
