Since bringing up the custody battle didn’t go her way she is pivoting back to the single disabled mama artist cosplay. Of course her feelings were hurt after none of her paintings sold. No one is buying her art bc it’s good. If you have to beg and cry about how you’re feeling down bc no one likes your art, maybe you shouldn’t be in the art world.

She also posted about a new “watercolor” which I 100% guarantee was not actually done with watercolor paint or on a canvas made for watercolor.

I’ll also be adding a new TikTok in the comments about how she will totally figure her caregiver situation out if she was able to grift an entire house 🥴

After, I think, two months?? of researching, writing, editing, re-editing, and generally disappearing down the Alex rabbit hole, I’ve FINALLY finished Video 1 of my Alex Deep Dive, aptly titled:

Even Wheelchair Rapunzel’s Early Fundraisers Don’t Add Up

I know so many of us have been frustrated by how little serious, long-form coverage Alex gets in comparison with the size of her platform, her extensive documented history, and the negative impact we know she’s had on disabled advocacy and online spaces just in general.

And I know we agree that there's SO much history that gets lost when the conversation around Alex is reduced to whatever controversy happened this week.

So, that, plus the sub's huge support, is a huge part of why I wanted to make The Purple Pagess. I’m hoping I can in some small way widen the conversation beyond individual incidents and document the bigger picture that I think people genuinely need to see. The patterns, the contradictions, the people impacted adversely, basically all about how we got from the Alex people felt they knew years ago to the person we’re watching today.

So video one is about her early fundraisers, and an examination of the origins of her scamming history.
