I am new to this and just set up USB loader this afternoon. It was working fine but all of the sudden I went to the Wii menu to change the date and time and it no longer loads and stops at reinitializing devices.

I made sure everything is plugged into the right port and have turned it on and off multiple times. I don’t know if it is normal or not or if it could be the cause of my issue but I can’t power off my Wii directly but instead have been unplugging it which may be corrupting it in a way.

If someone could help brainstorm solutions or lead me in the right direction that would be great.

Hello everyone! I modded my wii in october, and since then I had issues with some of the games I downloaded: on USBLoader everything I have on my USB appears, and some games run correctly, but when I try to load some games (eg Super Mario Galaxy or Wii Sports) the screen turns pitch black, my wiimote disconnects and the only thing I can do is unplug the wii and restart it.

What could be the issue?

I’ve got an old WiiU I just picked up and I really want to figure out a good way to download a bunch of Wii and WiiU games onto a hard drive or something so I can access and play them on the WiiU. However, I’ve never really done anything like this before so I’m a little worried about trying to figure it out myself and risk bricking my WiiU or downloading straight malware. Any advice on how to download those games (and even on how to make the accessible on my WiiU) would be awesome! Thanks in advance!

Hi Guys I recently homebrew my wii and now USBLX won’t work, in the beginning i had all my games and I changed the iOS loader and it worked but my games would not load. So I redid the whole modding process and whenI tried everything and I put my games on my external HDD and when I plugged my HDD in, it says reinitializing device and it’s just stuck there so I changed the iOS loader and it’s still doing the same thing . How do I fix it and how do I get my games to load

Whenever I try to download the missing images on the system it just says download completely without downloading the covers. Does someone know how to fix it??

I tried to connect my ps5 controller to my Wii but it wouldn’t work. I figured out that if I press the ps button the controller starts working but only for the duration of the light blinking. Is there any fix for this so I don’t have to keep clicking the ps button every 10 seconds?

So i wanted to download new games so i picked up lego stars which is like 2 gigs or a very big 1 gig. I had 2.11 gigs avail in my sd card so it was fine in theory. But, it didn't convert and said convertion failed and missing 1000 or smth blocs. Like how are blocs missing when there is litterally 2.11 gigs free in my sd card?????. And i have sooo many large games in my sd like i doesn't make any sense. Pls some help?

some time ago I modded my Wii and got homebrew, USB loader GX and a few games on it. a bit later I took the SD card out of it and now I've lost it. when I turn on my Wii I can still see homebrew and USB loader on the home screen but they don't work. I also have the saves of the games I previously installed. is there anything I can do without needing to format the Wii and do all the modding all over again?

I just got my USB Loader GX working, and I was wondering, what are some good games to snag? I've already got games like Wii Sports, Mario Kart Wii, Galaxy 1 and 2, I even got some less popular games, like The Dog Island.

CFG USB Loader 70R68 detecta mis juegos pero se congela al iniciarlos

Hola, tengo un problema extraño con CFG USB Loader 70R68 en mi Wii.

CFG detecta correctamente mi USB en FAT32 y muestra todos mis juegos. Actualmente tengo Wii Sports, Wii Play y Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Mi IOS/cIOS son:

- IOS 222 — base 38

- IOS 223 — base 37+38

- IOS 224 — base 57

- IOS 248 — base 58

- IOS 249 — base 56

- IOS 250 — base 57

- IOS 58 — versión 6176

El Game IOS está configurado en Auto.

El problema es que los juegos no se inician desde CFG. Los juegos de Wii se congelan o quedan en pantalla negra cuando intento iniciarlos.

También probé con Super Smash Bros. Melee. Melee funciona perfectamente cuando lo inicio directamente desde Nintendont, pero cuando intento iniciar el mismo juego desde CFG USB Loader, se congela.

entonces CFG puede leer el USB y mostrar los juegos correctamente, y Nintendont funciona por separado, pero los juegos no se pueden iniciar desde CFG.

¿Podría ser un problema de CFG USB Loader 70R68, de la configuración/ruta de Nintendont o de alguna configuración del propio CFG?

¿Qué debería revisar antes de reinstalar o modificar mis cIOS?

i’ve been trying to use an sd card instead of a usb to load games on. my sd is 512gb, and it gets detected, but the app keeps reading it as 811.57gb, and none of my games show up. i’d be willing to give any more info if needed - thank u!!

SOLVED: Got Newer ROM from MarioCube

I've been trying to get the Riivolution ISO Patcher to work to play mods like Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii on my vWii (Wii U) but it just doesn't work. It worked in Dolphin, but not on the vWii or even as a UWUVCI injection. I found a pre-patched ROM online, but it's a really old version. Not at all 1.30

Then I realized I have a 4.7GB DVD laying around, and the ISO for NSMBW is 4.4GB

So I wanna ask, is it possible to play Riivolution mods off of a burned disc? (Plus it'd save me buying the game)

And if the Riivolution app doesn't work, is there a workaround to get Riivolution mods working on the burned discs?

EDIT: Any recommendations for ROM hacks/mods that aren't pre patched on MarioCube? If I can get the God damn ISO patched to work properly, I will just use that

im trying to load a .wbfs file of wii party onto my wii but its taking me days and i literally looked at everything and none of them helped and the other post dont help cuz most are focused on converting iso and rvz files instead of how to load wbfs files please help

I want my PS5 or any controller that i have, act as a Wii Classic / Wii Pro Controller, but using bloopair and entering vWii mode doesnt work, but i saw that the 8bitdo for the SNES/SFC/NES Classic have the same connector as the extension port on the Wiimotes.

I accidentally bricked my Wii by installing a custom System Menu theme/wallpaper that wasn’t compatible with my system menu version. It resulted in a Full Banner Brick (black screen on boot).

Here is my current setup and details:

• System Version: 4.3 (Latest official version).
• Protections Installed: NONE. I do not have Priiloader installed, nor do I have BootMii as boot2/IOS.
• Current State: Power led lights up green, but the console boots straight into a pitch-black screen.

I know how to access SaveMiIFree / Recovery Mode using a GameCube controller (it displays 4.3 in the bottom right corner). However, since I am already on version 4.3, inserting a game disc with an update does not trigger a system update to overwrite the corrupted menu files.

Since I don't have Priiloader or BootMii:

1. Is there any software-based trick via SD/USB to force a factory reset or install an original System Menu .wad through Recovery Mode?
2. Or am I strictly limited to hardmodding (NAND flasher / Raspberry Pi Pico) / motherboard replacement at this point?

Hello! A couple of years ago I gifted my old Wii mini to my little cousins and they are having a blast with it! But they only have 2 physical games, and they got a bit tired of them, so i thought about modding it and adding new games. Is it possible to do even with 1 usb port?
