I'm close to giving up on this.

I feel like I've tried everything. I not that far into the guide at all. I've gotten to the point of Browser exploit where I put the sd card into the Wii U and type in Wiiuexploit.xyz. I've got the files on the SD card from the previous step formatted to fat32 with GUIFormat. I skipped the finalising sd card setup because that skips past the browser exploit page.

When I press run exploit on 5.5.X Exploit and hold B, the console just freezes up. I've tried clearing cookies, the browser save data every time, I've tried holding other buttons, tried holding no buttons. No matter how long I wait nothing happens and I reboot the console to do the same thing again. I just got the SD card and it holds files and like I said properly formatted with the right allocation size and I haven't renamed it at all either.

Is this step even necessary? Can I skip it? Does anyone have any advice for me? I've modded my 3DS but this is completely different.

Using other controllers on UWUVCI injects?

So I modded my Wii U earlier this week and I'm really enjoying it so far!

I did some VC injects using UWUVCI so I can play GC games on the gamepad. When using TV mode I would like to use my Switch Pro Controller which I already paired using Bloopair but it doesn't work with the VC.

Is it even possible to use this method?

WiiU & Homebrew 'vs' Nvidia Shield & Retroarch

I'm hoping to find someone who has experienced both & can comment rather than people who've only tried out one side of this.

Basically we were looking at getting a Nintendo Switch 2 but we're both old gamers really & while new stuff can be good, there's just something about the simplicity of old games.

So after being told about modding WiiU's & Homebrew, I mentioned this to my OH & she was keen on it as it'd save us over £400.

But then I remembered a few years ago I installed Retroarch on my Nvidia Shield just to try it out.

To be totally honest with you, I did it during a period of time off work just to see if I could do it. I got some games working, others either didn't work or I didn't have the skill to figure it out. I played a few games, enjoyed it but then went back to work & life got in the way of gaming.

In the years that have passed, I've now forgotten how I did it but if I did it once I should be able to do it again.

I've had a look at the Wii U modding & it looks quite involved. A guide should be easy enough to follow I guess providing it's up to date & doesn't say things like select 'xyz' when that isn't an option.

The first downside for me to Wii U modding is getting games on there. Understandably it's a hush-hush topic but I think I'd have to do some digging to find out how to do it whereas on the Nvidia Shield games aren't an issue.

I'm reaching out to basically just ask is there any benefit to going the Wii U route rather than the Shield & Retroarch or is the Shield & RA just all round better?

My first Wii U Theme is themed around Scott Pilgrim EX!

This was my first Wii U theme ever, and I themed it around Scott Pilgrim EX, using Anamanaguchi's track "Downtown T.O." from the game's official score. You can check it out at https://themezer.net/wiiu/themes/scott-pilgrim-ex-E3

This took me a while, specifically because of the assets and because the toolbox runs exclusively on Windows (I run Arch), so I ran into some snags to get it working. In the end, I think it came out cool, but not great. I'll be releasing a few updates in the future and maybe even a matching 3DS theme!

Can I add games to my Wii U without an SD Card?

I just modded my Wii U and I’m wondering if it’s possible to add games to it without using an SD card as I don’t have a computer that can read any SD cards.

Hi, I have checked the files a million times. The riivolution file is in the apps folder. The riivolution and the midnight folders (found inside the midnight zip) are in the root of the sd card. When I boot up riivolution only ctgp shows up. Anyone can help?

Shops for wii u?

I want to mod my Wii U—just for gaming.

The only hacked console I own is a PS Vita, and I use pkg to download games on it.

I was wondering if you could recommend the best shops for the Wii U; I only know about Nusspli, and I'm under the impression that it only includes games that were available on the eShop at the time.

Are there any "freeshops" for Wii or DS games on the Wii U? The last thing I want to do is download ROMs to my PC and transfer them via USB—I find that pretty annoying—so I wanted to know if there are any shops or programs that let me download them directly. Thanks.

How do I fix this? Wii U will not boot back to normal menu after isfhx mod

After following this video, I'm unable to boot back into Wii u menu. I installed the payloader 0.1.2, but when I turn on my Wii u, my TV says tw img loader.

https://youtu.be/D9L5JFqlC4Y?si=t0zSGqzuGWvHTZOI

When I take the SD card out, and reboot, the power button is still purple but I'm able to boot into the WiiU menu as if it was never homebrewed. As it's booting without the SD card, it flashes text on screen that looks similar to the minute menu thing, and says unable to load something, but it so quick I can't read it fully. Then it acts normal. (This is only without the SD card)

What do I do now?

(I’m new to homebrewing so pls be kind.)
