I received a bill from Novant Health for my wife on private insurance and it included a bill for $17.00 that was submitted to her carrier for :
Brief Emotional Or Behaviorial Assessment CPT/HCPS code 96127
This is snuck in as part of the check in procedure for the patient and they are not made aware of this "service" nor the charge and the NOVANT financial customer service agent could not provide any other details than it is a new charge.
I have let her know that we will NOT entertain any such charge and will pitch a ruckus and raise awareness of this new trickery with the public and the media.
I have defended Novant in the past but this is so underhanded and sneaky and devious that I will spend retirement time making everyone aware of this repulsive billing practice.
With the public beating and negative press that Novant is now receiving , this type of billing behaviour WILL NOT win it any friends and will be another fire in their kitchen. This is beyond stupid and a cheap revenue swindle on the public.
I would welcome any response from any Novant officer on my remarks.
It's absolutely fü¶¢ing nuts how people drive around here. Every day on my way to work I cross Market Street, and every day I hit the beg button, and every day the signal turns to walk, and some dipshit turns right cutting me off as I try to enter the crosswalk. And then the 7 lemming-ass dorks behind that person decide to go as well. Which leaves me with like 8 seconds to cross a 7-lane highway.
I swear to God I want to throw a rock through someone's windshield for doing this.

I am a new homeowner and I’m working on my house to get moved in. It’s has had some termite damage in the past that was repaired and when I bought it it was inspected and states it was termite free. Now that I am poking around I am finding some ants etc and would like a treatment for bugs and possibly a termite treatment to make sure they are prevented. I lived here about 4 years ago and used to launch out of Trails End all the time. Back then, parking was basically never an issue. This past weekend I got there around 8:30am and the lot was already completely full.
Now I’ve got a baby, so I’m a lot less flexible with launch times than I used to be, and I’m trying to figure out a better long-term setup.
I’ve already reached out to Mason’s Marina and Canaday’s, but both have waitlists that sound like they’re years long. Hampstead Marina seemed like a decent option, but it’s just a little too far of a drive for frequent use.
Does anyone know of:
Happy to pay for access/parking and be respectful/reliable. Just trying to find a practical solution now that the public launch situation seems way more crowded than it used to be.

We are helping my father in law clean up and purge some stuff after my mother in laws passing. We are from out of town so not very familiar with the area.
My MIL liked to buy lots of duplicates especially kitchen items - think 10 of each utensil, 5x the amount of pots and pans than one family would use, etc.
Of course we can take everything to goodwill, but it may inundate them and not everything may be sold as easily. A lot of this stuff has tons of life left, and I know there are folks out there in need who could use the extras to help furnish their kitchens.
Anyone have any recommendations for charities that would be a good fit for lots of kitchen equipment? Or specific Goodwill locations that get a lot of traffic?
Looking for pool passes for a few days here and there this summer. One date I want at Hotel Ballast is sold out on resort pass. I know Swimply exists, but I feel weird being in someone's back yard. Public pools always are filled with kids, rightfully so, just don't want to deal with them. Anyone know of any other resorts that do day passes?

Went to get a tee time for next Tuesday, checked at 7 am today and the earliest available was 12:15. Not sure how that can be since they only open tee times a week before at 7 AM but I’m assuming locals get earlier access? I thought about looking into the new venue Host Social hall because it looked pretty but the split floors might make it kind of awkward. Also a friend just attended an event there and said the owner was yelling at other vendors and directing the videographer like it was her event. Not sure i want to deal with that and it hardly has any reviews

Has anyone done the all you can eat crab legs at the lazy pirate in CB? If so how were they? I usually go to the giant crab in Myrtle for my all you can eat crab but it would be nice to have a place closer. Also how much was it and did the price match the quality?
