my hair feels weird after showering here. sticky near the scalp, dry/frizzy on the lengths, and more hair comes out while combing.
i don’t know if this is hard water, product buildup or just my scalp reacting to UAE weather.
thinking of keeping it simple: clarify once in a while, use a gentle shampoo normally, bebodywise serum only on clean scalp, and maybe an Olaplex No.3/No.8 type mask for the lengths because my ends feel fried.
also switched from normal towel rubbing to a soft microfibre towel because i think i was breaking half my hair after wash.
women in Dubai/Abu Dhabi, what helped with this hard water hair feeling?

Moms, I’m curious — what age or stage of your child’s life did you find the most challenging?
Was it the newborn stage with the sleepless nights, the toddler years with tantrums and constant attention, the preschool stage, or even the teenage years?
What made that stage difficult for you, and what helped you get through it?
I’d love to hear your experiences and advice. Sometimes knowing other moms went through similar challenges makes the journey feel a little easier. 💛
any UAE moms here dealing with postpartum shedding?
i knew hair fall after pregnancy can happen but seeing clumps in shower is still scary. UAE weather is making it feel worse because my scalp gets sweaty, ends are dry, and i barely have time for a routine.
i’m keeping it realistic: gentle wash, conditioner only on ends, no tight bun even though mom bun is tempting, Be Bodywise hair growth serum at night when i remember, soft towel, and trying to eat enough protein.
not looking for miracle cures. just want to know what helped you get through this phase without panicking every wash day.
Hello i want to get a piercing on my nose but with a needle. I jnow shj gold souk does it, and with a gun but i want to do with a needle. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this group and wanted to share something that has been weighing on me so that I can get advice from people who might understand what I am going through.
I graduated with an engineering degree from a university here. Growing up I had hoped to attend one of the top institutes here, but my parents simply could not afford to send me. However, things eventually worked out and I ended up earning a full scholarship for my master's at my dream university and was later awarded a Golden visa on the basis of my research.
But it's been 3 years now. I have exhausted all my means and haven't managed to secure an entry level role inspite of being told I have a strong resume at my stage. I barely got 3 interview calls in this time and for jobs that were not even related to my field.
Now i'm too old for graduate internships and too inexperienced in the industry roles that suit my age. Meanwhile, many of my batchmates from my bachelor's started working soon after graduation and have now been promoted to managorial positions, and I am genuinely happy for them, but it's hard to not notice how far behind I've fallen.
Some days I hold on to faith in the fact that sometimes delays serve a purpose, and other days I feel suffocated by the fact that I might have missed my window of opportunities. It hurts to see myself becoming a burden to my family, I hate seeing the pride in their eyes for me now replaced with sympathy and disappointment.
How do I get out of this situation? I keep networking, reaching out for referrals, applying online, emailing recruiters. I even sought help from my university and they promised to help, like the rest. But there has to be something more I can do to help myself. How do you guys navigate this ordeal?
None of Zara's tops are bra-friendly. You either need a strapless (which never works) one or the kind of bras that are invisible to everyone. Thoughts?

I am a 24F and I’ve recently moved to Dubai. While it’s an amazing place, It does get a little lonely because I have absolutely zero friends here. I live around Al Mankhool and was looking for some friends (preferably women) who wanted to explore Dubai together, hang out on weekends.
(P.S I am promise I’m not a dramatic backstabber
, just a genuine person looking for new friends)
