Gibson Traffic

Gibson Traffic

The traffic on Gibson gets progressively worse each year. It used to be unimaginable to see this many cars backed up at a light in Woodland, especially this area’s exit from the highway. With the mind numbing slow traffic between Davis & Woodland on Road 102, the consistent traffic on Gibson during near peak and peak hours, and the excessive people lining up to I-5, the driving experience has just gotten so much worse over the years.

Surely something can be done to prevent the issue prior to thousands more people move here with all of the already speedbuilt mass produced housing communities.

Roofing Company Recommendations?

We are looking to find a couple companies to get decent quotes to get our roof replaced as it’s nearing end of life…
Does anyone know of or have worked with any local companies that have fair pricing and do good work? Thanks in advanced!

Does anyone know if the person stuck in a tree yesterday made it down okay?

It's been a rough week here in Woodland. First the attack on Corner Drug. Now people getting stuck in trees. Stay safe out there everyone!

Hate speech vandalism in Woodland

Terrible news to learn about. And it all it all unfolds in the wake of a visit from a popular well-known local bigot.

Loved this year’s county fair… but gee, do you think they had enough sheriff’s deputies? /s

On the whole, enjoyed myself and had a really nice time. But man, you couldn’t turn around without seeing a trio of deputies decked out to the nines. Is there such a history of crime at a simple summer fair that so many heavily armed officers are necessary? It was more than a little creepy and didn’t lend itself well to the general atmosphere of… well, a fair.

Anyway. Just my two cents. Christ, I’d forgotten how good those sweet buns are.

DMV driving test route - 2026

Here is the route of my test yesterday, and I passed. I hope this helps somebody! 💗

Overall the test was pretty simple as someone who took it for the first time. No parallel parking lol, just lane changes, driving through neighborhoods and reversing 😂
