Tempted to take a projector and a screen down the beach for the England game tomorrow

Whats the risk if the police rock up? I’m thinking they’d be up for a bit of community beach football watching

Estate agents- working on Saturdays

Hello. Would anyone be able to tell me which estate agents work on Saturdays and can organize appointments to view flats to let?

I am getting really frustrated with the situation. I've emailed at least 6-7 estate agents and only one replied, but doesn't do viewings on Saturdays. The other agents either not answering the calls and neither reply to my emails. I am really desperate to move soon and because I don't live locally, is difficult to visit the branch in person. Any advice please would be much appreciated.

What’s the warhammer scene like in Worthing

Was wondering if anyone has any groups that welcome new(ish) players and has a general interest in warhammer? Would be helpful if anyone could let me know!

Plans to develop on Goring Gap submitted again - Public Comments open until Wed 15th July

The same developer who submitted plans in 2024 to develop on the small bit of non-agricultural land at the south east corner of Goring Gap has submitted new plans.

It appears to be a mini amusement part, of sorts, with a car park, sandpit, shipping containers for a cafe, and "animals for entertainment".

This developer has tried before with a more expansive scheme and has ignored previous rejections by digging up the land, so it's likely if this is approved they'd go further and push the boundaries of what's allowed to make some more money.

The public and comment on the application until Wednesday 15th July.

Casual Football team (5-a-side preferably) to join in Worthing

My friend and I (both 33 y/o) are looking for a 5 aside football, having recently both moved to the area. Both of okay/decent ability and good fitness. If you need players, drop me a message with the details. Would be great to start playing again.

Builder recommendation please!

Seems it's been a while since this has been asked. We might be buying a house that needs refurbishing, some walls removed and a bit of minor demolition....that kind of thing. Have any of you found one recently and loved what they did? Thanks!

The Beach

Hello all

Moving to Worthing soon, am wondering on an evening of a day like day today how busy the beach is? I used to live in Brighton and in this weather it was absolutely rammo… what’s it like tonight? What’s the vibe like?

Jealous we are not there yet!!

Did anyone else experience that huge gust of wind last night/early morning?

Got woken up by this loud roaring sound, the curtains in my room blew right up, knocked my fan over and slammed my bedroom door.

I asked my brother who lives in Patching and he experienced the same.

And....still no thunder/lightning/rain! Darnit.

New to Worthing, looking for groups/activities (book clubs, DnD groups, running clubs, 5-a-side, etc.)

28m just moved to Worthing, looking to meet some people and get back into some hobbies (mostly 'nerdy' stuff and sport). I'm also a dad of a toddler, so parent groups/activities could be interesting too. My wife is looking too and has similar interests. Thanks!
