I'm looking for someone who enjoys building characters and worlds as much as I do. While I'm absolutely open to roleplaying if we click, my main goal is finding someone who genuinely wants to contribute to an ongoing passion project by sharing ideas, helping develop characters, expanding lore, and bouncing creative concepts back and forth. I want someone who gets excited about adding their own spark to something we're building together. Of course, we also need to click as people, so becoming friends is definitely part of the deal!
For the past few years I've been creating an alternate-history, modern-fantasy setting where humans coexist with several species explained in a (somewhat) scientific way, lol. It's grown into a huge passion project, and I currently have a 40+ page encyclopedia I've developed for a couple of years alongside friends, covering history, cultures, species, and plenty of opportunities for stories and character interactions. I also draw, so some characters and concepts have accompanying artwork.
What I'm really hoping to find is someone who enjoys asking "what if...?" and then running with it. Someone who likes poking holes in ideas, suggesting improvements, creating characters that fit naturally into an existing world, expanding lore, and getting way too invested in fictional people. I'd love this to feel like we're both contributing creatively instead of someone not paying attention or showing curiosity. :(

Hey! I was looking to form a small writing group of women who are serious about writing and furthering their writing ability. I'm older (early 30s) and I find that there are more groups for younger writers out there, so I'm hoping to fill this space for the "older" women (we're not old but that's what the youths call us 😭;;;) who feel excluded or out of place in most groups these days.
To be honest though, I'm pretty introverted, and not the best leader or instigator of conversation, so hopefully someone can help out. my roleplays are drying up just a little, and i’d love to start a new one. so here’s some about me, my fandoms, and where to reach me.
the gist!
✿ i am an literate-novella writer (code for 1k-4k words a reply) and i shove a lot of thought and care into my replies. not fluff. real, paced, narrative writing that moves the plot forward. i WILL get invested. i roleplay on discord (so we can make a server hi-yah!), and write headcanons, and i love making spotify playlists & pinterest boards for an rp. my specialty is putting my characters through hell so they can have a crazy arc and learn something 😇😇.
✿ generally, i write rp responses like a snippet of a book. i’ll throw in riveting side characters and cataclysmic plot bumps to keep things interesting. to me, role playing is like tossing pizza dough back and forth. you gettossed some dough, knead what’s already there, give it a little spin, and toss it back.
✿ when i say low stakes, i mean as long as you remind me ur alive and still interested, you can take as long as you need to write a response back. a week, a month, 3 months. i am a college student and life gets BUSY. i get it.
✿ genres & plot ideas: man im down for so much. jumping off trains and fleeing the state. angel and demons fighting over earth. enemies to lovers to enemies. serial killer at a summer camp. friends who discover a crazy sparkly species and are exposed to superpowers and a new world. cursed love. dark love. sunshine skies and romcom dramatics. prophecies and siblings that can’t get along. dystopian survival. blizzard shutting everyone in a coffee shop. (there are nooooo limiiittss pitch me anything. i will go crazy and bounce ideas off urs like no tomorrow). generally the only thing that puts me off plot wise is extreme sci-fi, high medieval fantasy, or period pieces before the 1980s. i love rich atmospheres, and a plot that feeds right back into our characters.
——now, this writing is all for funsies, so i like original plots as much as preexisting ones. so here are my fandoms!

J'écris et construit entièrement depuis 4 ans une série animée qui a évidement énormément évolué et qui continue encore de jour en jour. Tout est bien commencé, mais rien n'est finit.
Je décris chaque scène avec les transitions entre les POV, construit l'univers ainsi que les personnages.
Mon objectif principal serait de publier le premier épisode sur youtube.

Just as the title says, I’m looking for a writing buddy/partner. I don’t want to collaborate on a project together so if that’s what you’re looking for, then I’d look elsewhere. Ideally, you would be 25+ I don’t have a preference if you’re M or F. What I’d like is for us to talk about our stories together, bounce ideas off of one another, and help each other out with whatever it is in our stories. Maybe even beta reading as well? The biggest thing for me is to hold each other accountable in order to keep writing. My biggest struggle is motivation and just sitting down to write. Having someone help push me is a must. Likewise I would do the same for you!

Now I wasn't sure where to post this. Because I don't want someone who's too professional of a writer but also someone who has a passion for it. I'm not sure if anyone out there will find this or take it seriously but it's worth a try.
So hi! I've been writing my own comic for 6 years now, and it's really hard because I'm the one doing the writing, drawing, and everything else. I'm having trouble writing the other chapters. Also some help proofreading my previous chapters would help too. I need some outside feedback, I'm willing to hire permanent co-writer.
Preferably male because my main character is a guy so having another guy would help a lot.
