LAUNCH DAY | Wuoshi Server UP and Stable! Get your character names locked in!

So many Colony zones!!! Im in 13 and watching so many people running by all the time.

Had about a 30 minute wait time to first log in, due to the congestion, but that has cleared up. Seems to be mostly stable now and my friends are able to log in straight away.

See you all in the fields and wishing everyone happy adventures!

SKIP THE BOAT Server Overloaded

A horde of users are stuck at character creation logging in because of overloaded servers.

This Is likely being caused by everyone being in a single person instance, doing their boat quests.

The more people who talk to the boat pilot and skip to go straight to island, the more our congestion may clear up

What’s a good healer to play for the TLE for a beginner?

I have never played EQ2 before but a few of my coworkers have and they have convinced me to sub and try the TLE. Usually in MMOs I play dps but they told me healing in EQ is chill and recommended defiler. Just curious if you guys have other suggestions.

What's the pop and projected life expectancy of this server?

I wonder if I should be playing this. I've heard eq2 is a good game that I've never given a proper chance, but I'm turned-off by the engagement of the community. It seems like there's maybe 200 people excited about the server.

How wrong is that, and how long will the population last? I know on EQ, TLP servers start hemorrhaging population after the PoP expansion. How does it work in eq2?

Class viability Warden / Inquisitor / Mystic

Hi all,

For a returning player, but not experienced, i did quite some research but am getting conflicted answers :)

Looking to play one of the healers/support classes.

Main focus: levelling solo and in groups, having fun. Then dungeons and fun at the endgame.
Not looking for a main raid spot, but as backup more then fine since i am casual.

Why these healers/support? Because they seem to be able to solo decently with the melee conversions. But thats also where the confusion kicks in, because not everyone agrees.

Current guild i am in discord with has all their raid rosters fit to mystic, no warden, so im pretty unsure whats going on.

All LLM's all give me also conflicting info, so thats not helpful either :)

What would you pick? and why?

Class Recommendations

Another class rec thread, some of the others were looking for sometjing different than me. Gonna get back in for Wuoshi launch. Tried to play on origins but couldnt really make it through the leveling slog. With EoF having a well streamlined leveling experience and hopefully some better exp rates it should be a better experience. IIRC i feel like EoF was the expansion where the game really found its footing. I stopped playing in Kunark so i am excited to get back into it.

Looking for class recs, specifically geared toward raid need. Id like to play a meele dps, so scout probably. Brigand, Swash, Assassin, or Ranger?

Also any guilds recruiting?

Thanks!

Darq UI (New/Returning Players PLEASE Read)

For those who have not played EQ2 before, or to those of you who played so long ago that your resolutions used to be three digit numbers...

You guys may find that when you first log into the game, the UI is FUNKY. I mean *really* janky and uncooperative with the resolutions we play on today. Not much will seem like it can be customized to your liking... but DONT despair!

If this description fits you, you will 100% be wanting to check out DarqUI, available [here](https://www.eq2interface.com/downloads/info4997-DarqUIUnified.html) for free download.

Frankly, my friend group had to pull my teeth to get me to finally try DarqUI, because im a very "vanilla - no mods - no bloat" sort of player.

I finally relented and gave it a shot. Not only was it easy to install and setup, but the amount of QoL absolutely floored me. I honestly consider it to be a baseline necessity for any PC I play on.

There is a paid option that offers support all the way up to 4k resolution, but most of you will find you can get what you need with the basic free version.

This one stop shop of a tool will not only smooth out your UI features and abilities....but give you easy access to in game maps for dungeons and instances! It has an auto harvesting feature that wont get you banned. It will track all your market purchases and sales, giving you expansive information on pricing histories for all your characters, allows you to set up an insane variety of alarms and triggers to help keep your edge during long haul grinds and raids.... and on and on.

Anyway, Just wanted to shout out this amazing project on the eves of our new server launching! I am super stoked to see all the new and returning players. You guys can surely feel free to ask around about DarqUI within the community, youll hear it's praises sung by way more than just me. So dont simply take my word for it, ask around!

Quick leveling tip

Hi all. I’m making some tip videos about the new TLE. Here’s the first about being efficient at the start. If you’re chasing nostalgia certainly do the island the first time :)

Returning Player for Wuoshi, any current Guilds playing?

I'll be returning for Wuoshi after a looong break from EQ2. There weren't any TLE servers the last time I really played, and just wondering if they're any guilds that currently playing on other servers that will be starting on the 9th and looking to recruit?

Just looking to see if there's a current group to join and get to know before server launch...

In general, looking for an older crowd with fun banter/environment and raiding nights (or at least regular pve groups). I normally played support (Warden or Fur)y back in the day, with Warden being my most played as my first class during EQ2 launch (to date myself). :)
