Need Help! This issue via my xppen tablet and TourBox is driving me insane!

Anyone else having conflicts between their tourbox and xppen tablet?

I recently got a Tourbox elite plus and noticed something pretty strange. Whenever tourbox software is running, the shortcut buttons on my stylus either completely stop working or only work randomly inside clip studio.

As soon as I fully quit the tourbox software, everything immediately go back to normal. It feels like there’s some kind of conflict between these two.

Has anyone else run into this before? Would love to know if there’s a fix or workaround! Thanks!

Where to buy pen nibs and/or new stylus?

I own a Magic Pad Display Tablet and use it regularly. I got it a long time ago and the pen is getting to the point where I'd replace a pen nib.

However, I've never replaced the pen nib of the stylus it comes with and I've not had any luck finding any replacements. And nothing to tell me how to get the nib out in the first place.

Please help. I love this tablet very much and don't want to replace it

Edit: Solved in the comments below. Thanks Xp-Pen!!!

Extreme pen offset

I updated my Mac to Tahoe26.5 this morning. When I got back I wanted to draw, but found this insane offset on my tablet. It could not be fixed by recalibration or any of the other usual tricks so I went ahead and installed the 4.0.15 drivers (most recent (April 2026)) for the Artist 15.6 Pro. I am still having the same issue. Nothing I do seems to change it. If anyone else is having this issue or has a solution please let me know. Thank you!

Dual Monitor Issue

Okay, so I have an Deco Pro LW (Gen 2) Tablet, and it bluetooth connects to my laptop. Recently i have gotten a second monitor that i can connect to my laptop, but when I have everything set up, my tablet sees both screens at the same time, meaning less than half of my tablet surface is usable. Is there a way to set everything up so my tablet will only recognize one monitor?

Wacom or XP-Pen?

Currently using a Huion Kamvas 22 Plus and overall it’s been okay, but there are a few things that have been bothering me enough that I’m thinking about upgrading.

Main issues are:

  • I constantly have to reopen the driver and reset the work area
  • Pen pressure occasionally stops working randomly
  • General driver annoyance over time

I work as a freelance artist and also use Live2D professionally, so stability and drawing feel are really important to me.

22 inches feels fine on my desk, but I feel like having a slightly bigger working area could be more comfortable for longer work sessions.

Right now I’m mainly considering:

  1. Wacom Cintiq Pro 22 €3354
  2. Wacom Cintiq Pro 27 €3,915
  3. XP-Pen Artist Pro 24 Gen 2 (165Hz) €849.15
  4. XP-Pen Artist Pro 27 €1899

I’m also wondering if I should just go straight to a 27-inch display instead.

The biggest deciding factor honestly is price.

I keep hearing that Wacom has the best pen feel and overall drawing experience, but it’s hard to find non-sponsored opinions about the newer XP-Pen displays. Most reviews feel like ads.

So I’d really love to hear from people with long-term experience:

  • Is Wacom actually worth saving up for?
  • Or are newer XP-Pen displays already “good enough” for professional work?
  • How’s the driver stability and long-term reliability?
  • Any regrets going bigger than 22”?

Would really appreciate advice from artists who use these daily for illustration/animation/Live2D work.

Artist 24 (FHD)

I’m kinda new to drawing tablets and a lot of my friends recommend XP pen, i’m looking at buying the Artist 24 (FHD) here really soon, but i wanted to know if it was worth it. all of the reviews i’ve seen are sponsored and i wanted to know if people who haven’t been sent it liked it as well or if i should get a different one (in the same price range)

About one month experience with my Artist pro 27

Hey guys so I started wfh this March. My old pen display was pretty much dying, so I got an Artist pro 27 as a fixed setup at home. I mainly draw, and just started exploring 3D modeling this year. I've been using it for a little over a month now and overall it's pretty good. Just want to share some things it stood out🙂

Display: Okay the screen size did throw me off at first. Tbh my hand movement range got a lot bigger and I just felt the lines I drew not that smooth in the beginning lol. Anyway, now it's been over a month, the colors feel pretty accurate, and I like that the display is really sharp. I usually zoom in on details, like even tiny hair strands won't get super muddy.

Pen: The screen has a kind of matte finish, and it's pretty smooth to draw on it. It comes with two pens and I mostly use the thicker one. Love that parallax is pretty minimal, and the pressure response feel good when drawing. Sometimes I need to rush to finish something before deadlines and it doesn't skip or anything.

Touch: Honestly I wasn't expecting to use touch much but it's grown on me. I use pinch to zoom a lot especially in ZBrush when I'm picking at small details, it just way faster than reaching for shortcuts. Pan and rotate work fine too.

Others: Fan is basically silent which I appreciated. And now I keep it connected and charged all day long, it would be a little bit warm after a few hours of use but I feel like it wouldn't bother me working.

Didn't find much review here so I just want to share my experience with it. Overall I love it so far. Happy to answer any questions!

Does anybody here owns a Deco Pro SW/MW (Gen 1)?

I have a question about the tablet and would like to know from somebody who actually owns the tablet or has used it in the past.

Are there any other styluses compatible with the XPPen 13.3 pro?

I know the only official product that is compatible with this model is the pa2 battery free stylus. But it hurts so badly to use it! If I draw for more than an hour it can leave my hand cramping for days unable to draw again. I know it's because of my grip- I used to use a slim surface pen before switching to XPPen, so I became used to holding my thumb to the stylus with my index finger. With a thick pen like this, though, I've discovered my grip is very painful. Please, Is there any thinner stylus alternative? Third party? I'll take anything!

what is the best screen less tablet

I mean right now I'm torn between deco 01 v3 and deco L but I really can't tell which is better and if there are better ones than these two. I wanna use it for drawing so please tell me and also give a concluding statement on which you think is the best, because the other Reddit threads I've seen they simply say the bad stuff about one of the tablets but other people say otherwise so it's just confusing

Edit: I heard huion h1601p is also really good UGH I CANT CHOOSE PLS HELPPP. I saw hs611 is also good?? Ong

Edit 2: guys my budget is 100 usd

Tried xppen magic drawing pad with drawing display mode last weekend

I bought the xppen magic drawing pad mainly as a standalone drawing tablet first, didn't really expect much from that pc display mode tbh. Most wireless /third-party app solutions i tried before always had something off:

  • pressure felt weird or inconsistent
  • felt lagggy overall
  • colors looked washed out
  • hover didn’t work right
  • random jitter when drawing fast lines

Turns out the diff is that most of those apps are basically just compressed video streaming. the magic drawing pad’s drawing display mode is actually a hardware Dp-in connection, so it behaves much closer to a REAL drawing display instead of some mirrored Android tablet!

 Quick comparison from my experience:

Actual experience Drawing display mode Typical mirroring apps
Setup One cable, instantly works Drivers, pairing, reconnecting
Drawing feel Lines feel direct and stable Slight lag/jitter
Pressure & hover Feels like a real pen display Often inconsistent or missing
Color Feels native Colors look compressed/off
Heavy desktop apps Smooth with PC performance Depends on streaming quality
Overall feeling “Real drawing display” “Remote controlling another screen”

What surprised me most? hover feedback + pen shortcuts still worked normally. That alone made it feel like an actual pen display instead of “controlling a remote screen.”(gotta admit... xppen actually did a pretty good job with the pen display and pen tech here)

This feels like a game changer to my workflow*:

  • outside → sketching on the couch/train/cafe with the tablet alone
  • home → plug 1 type-c cable into my pc and continue directly in cps/ps

and honestly the best part is desktop software + pc power. Mobile apps are fine for sketching, but once i start doing heavier rendering, giant canvases, or too many layers... yeah I still want my pc.

Funny thing is i originally worried this thing would become another “used for 2 weeks then posted on ebay” device hhh. but even when i’m not drawing, i still keep it on my desk as a second screen for references, youtube, or just random multitasking stuff.

one thing people should know though: the drawing display mode is fixed at 1920x1080 (16:9), which keeps the aspect ratio in sync with the pc. You’ll see some black bars, but honestlly doesn’t affect drawing experience in real use.

Uh wtf happened

this tablet is less than like 2 weeks old, I hear like a little crunch noise, nothing fell, nothing unplugged literally nothing happened but now there are lines on my tablet, lowk freaking out because it was 400 dollars on sale

Edit: I'm freaking out less now so I can type a bit clearer. It's an artist 15.6 pro V2 I've noticed that when I turn the tablet off and on the streaks/lines don't occur in the loading screen which makes me kind of think that it's a cable issue and HOPEFULLY not the tablet still freaking out tho because it was so expensive. Anyone have any idea on problems this tablet might have display wise?

XP Pen or Huion?

Hellooo!!

Currently I use an IPad Pro 11’ 3rd gen that I got as a birthday present. And although I love it I HATEE how slippery it is. I know I can just buy a screen protector but Ive seen many people talk abt how it can damage your Apple Pencil nibs and I don’t want to keep buying more and more. And I want to use my ipad more for school.

Ive been searching for a couple of days and Ive ruled out Wacom bc 1 wayyyy too expensive and 2 I don’t really like their pens or screens… so now Ive been going back and forth between XP Pen and huion.

I have a legion Pro 5 16’ so I want something that will be in the same level as that. I’m not sure on the size but honestly anything above 13 and under 20. I also want a more paper- feel texture and that will keep up with my laptops specs. Im very minimalistic so I’m not rlly into buttons and stuff, mainly bc idk how to use them… BUT yeah I’m stuck between the 2.

I don’t have a set budget, I think anything under $600 would be good, I also have a student discount but I don’t that that will do much…

I don’t want to spend hundreds on something that will break in a year, I would love to hear your experiences on it, Thank youuu!!

Are wireless/Bluetooth pen tablets actually worth it?

Hey guys

I just ordered my second pen tablet the XP-Pen Deco L, but now I’m considering cancelling it and getting the Deco LW instead for about +$13. I’m from Pakistan so even $13 feels like a lot rn.

My situation is kinda weird — currently jobless, living with parents, but I do have enough savings from my previous job to survive around a year if things go bad. I’m mainly buying this as a temporary tablet until I hopefully get a job again and maybe upgrade to a display tablet later.

I'm unsure cuz:

people say the Deco L’s USB port placement is horrible and can break over time

idk if wireless is actually useful or just a gimmick

also unsure if I should even plan for a screen tablet

later or just stick with screenless tablets long term

Would you guys cancel the Deco L and pay extra for the LW in my situation?

Giara's first ever photoshoot Fujifilm X-E5 Tamron 17-70 f2.8 XP-Pen

💡 The Anatomy of a Great Model

True artistic success comes down to a simple formula:

  • Talent is born.
  • Technique is developed.
  • Ego gets in the way.
  • A closed mind shuts doors.

An over-inflated ego is the fastest way to stall a career, but a great attitude? That is the ultimate key to the top. Giara understands instinctively that photography is a collective journey. When you drop the pretence and focus purely on working together to produce art collectively, magic happens.

This young lady has the right attitude. Not everyone does.

15.6 Pro V2 out of stock? Should I get the V1?

I’ve been thinking about upgrading and getting the 15.6 Pro V2 for a while and just now I learned that it’s really hard to come by. The V1 is still available and in my budget m. But I’ve heard a lot of good things about the V2 and some artists recommend it over the V1. Should I wait until the V2 is available again or should I stick with the V1?
