Einen schönen guten Tag,
Wir haben aktuelle Probleme mit mehren Systemen und kommen mit dem Support nicht weiter leider.
Wir haben aktuell noch 2025r2 und 2025r3.
Auf einem Win11 Client sind mehre Monitore angeschlossen und dort laufen die Kameras auf (24/7)
Jetzt passiert es das nach einer gewissen Zeit der Vram voll läuft und der Smart Client einfach stehen bleibt. Nach einem Neustart von dem, geht wieder alles.
Ganz verstehen tuen wir das nicht oder wie wir das lösen können. Da es jetzt ein gutes Jahr super lief.
Ja es sind sehr viele Kameras auf dem Clienten. Jedoch ruckelt nichts und der Server hat auch keine Probleme.

Die PCs haben folgendes:
I9
64gb ram
NVIDIA 5090
Win11 Pro
Ssd
2,5gb Netzwerk

Windows Updates sind unterschiedlich, weil wir dachte es liegt daran. Weil im Herbst schon einmal solche Probleme aufgeraucht sind.

Vielleicht kann da uns einer helfen.

I have a requirement for one of our sites to have continuous recording. They are a police department concerned with missing events not triggered by motion. So they'd like to do a continuous recording setup for a specific stream with low fps. Then they'd like a stream with high fps recording for just 7 days. My concern is that the server hard drive will fill up fast.

I'm familiar with creating multiple streams. But would this be two separate rules for high fps and low fps?

Or is the better option to create a device group with just devices configured for low fps streams and create a rule for it to record continuously. And then just modify the default storage retention for 7 days for the regular devices with the higher fps streams?

Anyone here use Briefcam?

Any pros and cons?

Costs?

Maybe someone has dealt with this before: on a Hikvision TandemVu camera (the one with dual lenses, panoramic and PTZ). I can't figure out why, despite correctly configuring Intrusion and Line Crossing detection on the panoramic lens and enabling the rules/events for recording in Milestone, nothing happens. I’ve already checked the basic settings on the camera, including Linkage method. Any tips?

To make the long story short...

I upgraded one of the Recording Server, and reinstalled the Recording Server (2025 R3, same version as Management Server), registered the server and all is good.

BUT, on the Management Server, it cannot see the camera (shows up as "No Video")

I confirmed it has Device Pack installed (v13.8a), and I also installed the Legacy device pack as well. Rebooted server. Nothing.

Refreshed the camera. Nothing. Readded the camera. Nothing.

There is no "Recording" icon on all cameras. I checked the Rules and it's all set up correctly.

In the Server Log, I can see this:

Info	19/05/2026 17:00:22	Communication established.	Hardware and devices	Device	<location>	Communication Started

Which implies to me that it's connected fine. But, yet... no video displayed.

What else am I missing out?
