Axis M3004 - Connection Broken
Anyone seen this issue in MS? The camera seems fine and I can login to it and see the video stream - was working last time I checked....

I am a partner and can login to the partner portal just fine in the browser. When I try those same credentials from Management for a Online Activation I get username/pw error - why would this be?
Which ZBM2 antenna https://zbm2industries.com/products/qp-whip-antenna-thicc?variant=43973159551128 do I want for XPR7550e UHF mainly around 460/470 Mhz?
I think its the MURS/GMRS/Family bands one with a SMA-F-BNC?
I have a few HP Mini's deployed to remote locations that are headless and a real pain in the ass to access physically. They are running Windows 10 pro (I know!). Anyway I added a smart plug so I can remotely reboot them, but even so I regularly find they don't come back online (at least not so I can go on with Teamviewer or Tailscale).
Whenever I go out after one of these outages I find that usually its on a pre-login screen asking if I want Windows Backup or something like that.
To get around this I am seriously thinking of installing Proxmox and running Tailscale on the host or is there a better way?
I assume Proxmox would come backup cleanly after any reboot.
Does anyone care to recommend small/home office printer with good M365 scan to email or OneDrive integration? Previously so we don't dumb down M365 security we used a SMTP2Go for scan to email but native integration would be better. Its for home office so otherwise basic.
I have got a few (but not all) cameras showing online, but no video stream.
I have rebooted, checked all services online, cameras are online, and tried replace HW - but the streams wont come back online. They are all Axis cameras.
Since upgrading from 2022 to 2026 my logs are now empty. The logs prior to upgrade are there but nothing new showing up.
Logging in options is still turned on.
Any ideas?
I have a user who has about 4 tenants (not a good idea) on one Outlook installation. They also use Teams, it appears to be getting very messy when they try to setup a Teams meeting from outlook calendar as even though the from shows correctly, they no longer seem to be the meeting organiser as when they go to join they are told someone needs to let them in.
Maybe teams was signed into the wrong account when they created the meeting? IDK.
Is there a better way to manage this? Seperate Outlook profiles maybe?
I have a few Axis cameras sending metadata, but the newest one, a Axis P3278 isnt sending.
Time is sync'd
Metadata is enabled in camera
Metadata is enabled in MS
Metadata is set to "ON" in Metadata settings
Metadata is shown in the Axis Metadata tool
I am not sure what else to check?
I have been experimenting with events from Axis cameras to Milestone.
The reason for this is because the Object Analytic events in Axis have some strange behaviour where "CameraApplicationPlatform/ObjectAnalytics/Device1Scenario2/ObjectAnalytics (Some OA event camera 3) Rising" is cached for one camera, and even though I select camera two, I have to remember which scenario I am working with. Works but annoying and messy.
So I am trying to get cameras to send Analytics event via TCP (1234) generic or TCP (9090) analytics to milestone event server - but this doesn't seem to work either.
The recipient and event in the camera are configured OK - but nothing in the generic or object analytics event seems to get received. Is there a guide on this somewhere?
What is usual for recording with motion detection when using Axis+Milestone?
I have read two options:
Motion detection on in milestone, object analytics on in camera and motion detection on in camera;
Just pick one and turn the others off so you don't miss anything;
With #2 you are less likely to miss anything at the cost of recording space, but bookmarks could help search for specific events.
I have a Tailscale machine shared with me, and I had it setup so they had connectivity between each other - something changed and now they can Tailscale ping but not windows ping. I have turned windows firewall off temporarily and it doesn't seem to help. Allow incoming network connections is turned on, on both.
What can it be?
Hi,
I have a machine on a remote subnet in my tailscale - and I have access to the remote subnet. Works great!
Now I shared that machine with another tailscale user - they SEE the remote machine IP - but cant access the remote subnet.
Is there a way to do this.
