Built an App to find riding friends!

Moved to a new area last year and realised how hard it is to find people to ride with when you don't know anyone local. Existing Facebook groups felt…odd and I never found anyone with a similar pace or experience level.

Ended up building an app to scratch my own itch, it matches you with riders based on pace, experience, budget, that kind of thing, so you're not turning up to a group ride and immediately holding everyone up (or getting left behind).

There's also a "Ready to Ride" feature that lets you flag you're heading out, anyone else local with it on gets notified so you can link up spontaneously.

It's free, iOS and Android. Happy to drop the link in the comments if anyone's interested, mainly just want to know if this is actually a problem other people have or if I'm in the minority.

75’ issue I can’t figure out, maybe someone can give me some insight on what to look for

I have an xs650b and a month ago it was riding perfectly then all of the sudden it started bogging out and then just cut off entirely. I thought it might have been the new mikuni carbs I installed but they are fine. After testing a few things I came to the conclusion that there is no power running to the starter to ignite the coils. I’ve been tracing every wire and making sure all the connections are ok and everything seems to be in place, no loose wires or bad connections. If I try to kick it I also get no sparks to the plugs. Any ideas on what I should be spending more of my attention on? I rewired the headlight bucket and all lighting, horn, brake lights, turn signals, and dash work fine.

Meet My Bumblebee 🐝💛

Modification Details:
- Colour change & RTO process done in showroom itself

👇🏼Below mods are done in local mechanic
- Stock handle bar tilted downwards to match caferacer vibe (I felt clubman or other after market handlebars very aggressive)
- Accessories bought from Sarkkart(Bar-end mirror, Crash guard, Pillion grab rail, Radiator guard, Oilcap guard) and fitted by my local mechanic.

2007 VStar 1300 No Start

Anyone have an idea what could be causing this no start issue on my 2007 Yamaha VStar 1300? Fired up and rode with no issues, parked for 5 minutes, never cranked again.
Couldn’t find any bad grounds, tried a jumper from the starter relay straight to ground in an effort to rule that out.
Replaced starter relay.
Someone suggested a flasher relay can cause the issue, replaced that.
Replaced the starter motor with no success.
Battery shows 12.4V, tried to jump it as well.

Battery Swap

Battery died on my Vstar 1100 and came across this option for replacement.
Lithium battery. Weighs nothing and half the size of.
Anyone share their thoughts experience with this product?

Absolutely love my Yamaha Road Star 1600.

No matter the length of the ride (so far 200 miles around 3 hours has been my longest) it never feels like enough. I used a Godox ad200 off camera flash on this shot.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 vs Yamaha MT-03

Looking at getting my first motorcycle trying to decide between these two. I never even heard of husqvarna until I saw a video by Yammie Noob where he seems to overwhelmingly support the Svartpilen as the best beginner bike. The MT-03 always seems to be a recommended choice.

1982 Virago Spitting Oil and Blue Smoke

I just purchased this 1982 Yamaha Virago from Craigslist for $450. Started it on ether and drove it home when I immediately noticed it started pissing oil out of the air box drain tube. Figured it may just be overfilled oil (and it was by about 2 qts) so I drained the old and filled it up properly (3 qts), and now it leaks oil and also produces blue smoke out of the exhaust. I can assume that bad rings are a possibility, but I’m wondering if anyone is more familiar with this kind of bike that has had similar issues.
