My ignition is stuck in the “LOCK” position. I can’t finnagle it into turning to unlock. Does anyone have any tricks to getting it to turn? I put penetrating oil in it based on a Google search and now I’m worried I fkd up. Any suggestions?

1986 Radian yx600. Bought from a guy who barely rode it who bought it from a guy who barely rode it. 16k miles. $2250. I havent rode since I was 16 in 2018 so I was a bit rusty but after my first ride I'm satisfied with my purchase. I already know I'm gonna love this bike.
Some flash rust in the tank from sitting empty for so long. Gotta clean the carbs, rebuild the petcock, slap a fuel filter on it, tires are a year older than me but it sat in a garage so I'm not too stressed.

Bought end of last season as my first bike and she's a beauty. New tires and first chance to ride this finally. She looks great too after turning her in a cafe style bike, but the original look still hits.

The dealership tells me the model number is MTT9TB
Looking up this number doesn't help much. It comes up as a mt-09 unless you throw tracer 9 in with it. Yamahas website isint very helpful in distinguishing if it's a base, gt or gT+. I'm assuming they only have one model for 2026. Does anyone know what's going on?

I have ridden an R3 for a year, and I just bought an R7 yesterday. Fantastic bike. Can’t lie, though, I’ve been having some fun and pushed it twice on the highway. I’ve noticed that at higher speeds, my handle bars jiggle when accelerating and shifting. Not death wobble, just a slight shake/wobble. The front end also feels very light. I let go of the handlebars at 80mph, and no wobble, just kept going straight. Am I just not use to the power and handling of the bike yet? I don’t think anything is wrong with the bike, but it definitely unsettles me. Someone told me I just haven’t gotten use to how light those bikes can feel at high speed, though. What do you guys think?

On my 2025 Yamaha yzfr7 the under bracket comp slides and is not steady and also the steering is either too tight or too loose there is no in between

Just bought this bike 3 weeks ago and it's been an absolute blast. Came from a '20 street glide special with a 121ci. Still own the Harley, but damn does this thing make me want to ride it permanently. I now see what all the fuss is about 🤘 Mad Respect.

Hello, I just purchased a 1982 Yamaha dt175 and I can’t seem to get it to run longer then 5 seconds. It seems to flood itself out. When I pull the plug it always comes out wet after kicking it over and after unfooding it tries to fire. The carb has been cleaned about a dozen times, it has a new plug and a coil that’s known to work, the oil sprayer has been deleted and it doesn’t have a kill switch. If anyone can give me a spare brain to figure this out that would be amazing.
