Council Bluffs, Iowa 05/19/26 photo dump
50 degree weather and my first Yellowcard/NFG/Plain White Ts show!
Council Bluffs, Iowa had plenty of dedicated fans who showed up excited, and sang along with these great bands.
Show started at 7pm, and if I recall right I think it ended around 10:45pm.
I'm 34 years old, and I was feeling tired, and sore near the end of the show.
Yellowcard was phenomenal. Ryan took time to share some life updates, and opened up that he still struggles with his mental health, but also shared the joy of becoming a father. He really poured out all his energy for us last night, and his band was top notch. New found glory played some great songs, and Jordan even came into the crowd briefly, and caught the security team off guard! Plain White Ts were surprisingly good, and I really enjoyed their energy, and interaction with the crowd.
I caught a t shirt from NFGs guitar player and gave it to the kid behind me! I think he was aiming for the kid anyways, but I couldn't resist jumping up for it.
I liked the Stir Coves outdoor venue at the Harrahs Casino and hotel. I was in the party pit, but I didn't see any moshing, which was fine.
I had a great time! I love these bands, and can't wait to see them again one day!
