yomih might be the only game in which even the worst idiot players are elitist
like seriously stop stealing my flow you larpers

Like I get in the old version where you spawn close so with impale you beat both dash back and block however now we spawn already far from each other so block is unlikely and wait is the most popular option together with dash forward which can be easily slowed down to not get impaled
I've used cowboy 3 times and every single time it worked
Genuinely what do I do against mutant It feels like they have 5 times the options the rest of the cast
(while explaining the whole game in the chat)
Me(Dokja), he was still pretty fresh I tried telling him to use burst and di to escape combos but he kept spamming IMPALE 😹
So, i tried to play in legacy multiplayer today and one room i was excluded from because opponents version was "1.10 mobile port by (name that i forgot)" while I had outdated one. Are there mobile ports of yomi hustle??
UPD: well, i found one on apkvision, and more than sure that one i saw was "port by spicefab" too.
If I know all they can do is block then how can I use that to my advantage?
So I’ve been really getting into cowboy and it’s been eye opening really I’m starting to get perfects which I’ve never gotten before and it’s mostly because of my new usage of things like gun throw, temporal round setups, foresight setups, and vine bowsons. But I find that if there’s nothing I can do in a turn but make an opponent have to block or else they will get hit at frame 1, I realize I cannot convert that into a good combo reliably. So I’m wondering, what are the steps to take after confirming their block?
Obviously guard breaks exist but I’m talking about the times guard breaks won’t always work (stinger but I’m in air or somehow block still blocking against impale idk how that works yet I’m still pretty new)
Theres a Style Contest going on in a discord server, you can go in there and vote through the announcement banners ingame. The current theme is Elemental. Go vote!
It seems like this a very niche game, with a small but loyal community.
This combination usually means that trying to get into the game as a new player is really hard since you will have to fight people who have hundreds or thousands of playtime.
So how is it?
Sorry for the ranty post, but I just wanted to voice some criticism as a Mutant main.
Is it just me or has the recent Mutant rework sort of castrated him? Up until this point he was a glass cannon that was mid in just about every regard other than his stellar movement, which he used to initiate fights and pull off crazy combos. His slop Dash was iconic, his jukes were very useful, and in general Mutant's movement was as good as ninjas if not arguably better. Now Slop Dash, his best movement tool has been nerfed to the point of being comically slow; slower than his regular dash... the thing you need to expend a super just to get while cowboy can literally teleport with his super. Also the jukes are way weaker which means Mutant has way less approach options now and is stuck struggling in neutral against characters way better at neutral than him (all of them).
Mutant's whole flow before was "I gotta get out of neutral as fast as possible so I can start doing cool stuff" and mutant had the tools to do it if you were a step ahead of your opponent. Now mutant is so slow he can't really do that anymore, and is forced to spam projectiles just like the other characters. Problem is his projectiles are nothing compared to ninja, robot, or even cowboy's, so he feels like he's just in a constant disadvantage state that's very hard to get out of. Mutant has always sucked at neutral, but that was the whole point, as he was VERY strong once he closed the gap.
What we're left with is a character with movement far worse than ninjas, weak damage output, a subpar projectile game, less health than everyone, and now even his approach options are arguably not even that good anymore. The only thing he has left is frame data which is still pretty good. Mutant overall feels very weak especially against strong neutral characters like Robot and Wizard. He's not even a glass cannon anymore. Just... glass...
I think the overwork went way too far in trying to make Mutant's assets more "balanced". Mutant being completely different than the rest of the cast was... kind of his entire point and he was fun to play as and against in my opinion. Now he just eels less unique, far weaker, and less fun.
TLDR: Mutant rework was too harsh and made Mutant less fun for me
As a new player, I'm fascinated by this game. After the recent changes to the mutant, most of his old features stopped working. Can you give me any tips for playing him?
I have this weird bug where it closes the gang every time I try to check relays, I wanted to post a relay where I put belt to ass on a knight while as minos after that laughed at me, so uh.. yes I use mods
