Is the salaryman/Tanya von Degurechaff’s inability to understand how the Empire (which is a Fantasy Counterpart Culture to pre-World War I Imperial Germany) views war partially based on how a 21st century born-and-raised Japanese civilian views war? The salaryman died in 2013 at age 30, meaning he was born in around 1983. By 2013 (and still the case as of this post), Japan hadn’t been to war since 1945, which was the end of World War II. The Imperial Japanese Armed Forces were reorganized into the Japan Self-Defense Forces.

Obviously, it’s not the only reason, but don’t bring up any other reasons like Tanya being a high-functioning sociopath with an almost Vulcan-like adherence to logic and reason over emotions.

Could a born-and-raised American civilian office worker understand the Deliberate Values Dissonance better than Tanya? In contrast to Japan, the US has had much more wartime experience since then, such as the Korean War (1950-1953), the Vietnam War (1965-1973), the Gulf War (1990-1991), the War in Afghanistan (2001-2021), and the Iraq War (2003-2011).

Getting closer

I am looking for a really good fanfic to read. I’ve pretty much scoured AO3 dry for Youjo Senki fics and am looking for some well written ones that are pretty much ‘underground’ gems. Crossovers are cool, as long as the focus is Tanya as the MC.

Why do Zettour and Rudersdorf trust Tanya during the coup planning(before she agrees with Zetour to kill Rudersdorf)?

Before she agrees with Zettour she's constantly been clear to state that she wanted to stay out of politics(her insisting that she was just a soldier), so why do the trust her so much in the planning of the coup?

We saw that Rudersdorf didn't trust Lergen so why was Tanya different? Or was it just out of necessity since Tanya and the 203rd could probably stop the coup?

They were invaded by the Legadonia Entente and then by the Francois Republic and when they were finally winning the “free republic” showed up to fight them in the south not to mention the federation, like bro CHILLL😭✌️

Bought the first three editions no problem with a local retailer who has all of them on their website and decided to buy the next three volumes with them only to be given a call today that there vendor canceled two of them because they were unable to fulfill the order. Does anyone have a good website to buy the rest of the manga or a vendor who will be able to fulfill the order?

The title literally, I've heard a new season is gonna drop this month, is it worth binge watching 4 hours of season 1 + movie???

Edit : I watched the amazing 2 episodes of the anime and am 100% planning on continuing the same, would y'all recommend reading the light novel also??<3
