Nice continuity catch while Sheldon reads Dune

i just appreciated the little detail that at the beginning of S3 EP13 “Contracts, Rules and a Little Bit of Pig Brains” we see Sheldon reading dune about halfway through at Missy’s game, then at the end of the episode he’s reading again and almost near the end of the book. just thought that was a cool little continuity touch

Paige should've been Missy. They should've saved Missy for Billy's sister.

Paige should've been Missy. They should've saved Raegan Revord for Billy's sister.

There I said it, now for all you Missy lovers please don't make generic comments and state facts.

Don't comment "acting is all about prespective and each person has different way of looking at things". State your facts and defend Missy's weird acting.

BUT MISSY'S CHARACTER DESERVED A BETTER MISSY!!!

I was thinking this recently but Paige is not the only tragic character on the show

I get why the actress wasn't available for the last season but I can think of 4 other characters that really were sad characters.

There's Nathan although that's probably self-imposed as he admitted to Sheldon about not bothering to look for work.

There's the librarian, Ms. Hutchins, who likely stayed depressed and single.

There's Billy Sparks who likely didn't ever graduate middle school.

There's June who admitted to Connie that she has no friends.

Bessel functions

Sheldon during a test forgets the zeros of the bessel functions I mean you do need the bessel functions to solve the Schrödinger equation in cylindrical coordinates or a particle confined to an infinite cylindrical well but you will generally be provided a table right. You won't be expected to remember them. 😂😂😂

Don't get me wrong I really like that scene as it shows that even geniuses can forget something during a test but they could have given a better example.😂😂

This made me feel so good

The fact that it is always Sheldon who aces tests and gets prioritized and recognized so it felt good seeing Missy score well and Georgie having a hand in it as well

Paige deserved a better ending

Paige has always been one of my favorites. its such a shame she just disappeared. I have many theory’s on what happened to her. What did Tam do to deserve a comeback in big bang theory?
They also have had multiple chances to cast her in the first marriage. such a shame really haha.

Paige Swanson out-thought Sheldon Cooper at ten years old. The last time this franchise showed her, she was thirteen, in the back of a Louisiana police car. That was 1993 — and across Young Sheldon, The Big Bang Theory, and Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage, nobody has said her name since.

Let me know your thoughts.

edit: im talking about the character. not about the actress who plays Paige

Does anyone know what being grounded meant for Sheldon?

He got grounded a few times and idk if they mentioned it and I didn’t notice but was just curious if anyone knows what grounding meant for Sheldon. No books? Professor proton? Etc?

Why was Georgie's dad angry over being offered to fix AC?

Hello!

Sorry for anyone recently watching this show but I gotta ask because I've been rewatching this show for like third time now and I'm still wondering, why was Georgie's dad angry over the offer instead of being proud that their son makes money and can help with that?

Young Sheldon was basically a Disney reunion.

So many of the actors voiced Disney characters. Meemaw, Bo peep from Toy Story. John Sturgis, Rex from Toy Story. Dale, Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles. President Hagenmeyer, Chicha from The Emperor’s New Groove. I don’t know if there’s anyone else.

Some of these Youtube comments make me sick. Of all the horrible & illegal shit Sheldon does, you’re all attacking him for wanting to wear a costume to a kid’s birthday party, where said kid, Billy, is cool with it? If that’s such a big deal to you, you are more autistic & disabled than Sheldon is.

This show made me laugh and cry.

What happened in the final episode left me completely bewildered and so sad. I happened to rewatch the first episode, and the Cooper family looked so young-especially George, Missy, and Sheldon. It reminded me why I started watching this show, haha. I want to watch the next spin-off and The Big Bang Theory too, but they aren't on Netflix ㅜㅜ

How would the characters looking like this impact your experience watching the show? (2 pics)

I think it would be neat!

Why didn't we get more holiday episodes

It would've been cool if YS once showed a Missy and Sheldon's birthday episode, or even a Christmas episode, or New Year.

They're Christians after all, so...why didn't we get any of that?

It sounds like a stupid question but from a series about a middle-class family living in a small town you'd expect to see a few episodes with an event like they did with Thanksgiving.

Y'all tell me what would've Missy and Sheldon gotten for Christmas though XD

The fact that Young Sheldon grows up to become Sheldon from the first season, is depressing

Young Sheldon's insistence on ending basically every episode with a lesson, has brought the character to a point, where he's seemingly more perceptive, aware and emotionally intelligent at the age of 12, than Jim Parsons' Sheldon was, for the first few seasons

I genuinely can't see how these are the same people, and if they are, Sheldon clearly went through a very rough patch after his adolescence, leading to him completely regressing.

What do you guys think? Am I the only person who has difficulty reconciling the 2 characters?
