Should I feel bad for not choosing Nursing School?

Hi, I'm an IT student (from the PHILIPPINES) but was supposed to study Nursing to maximise my opportunities after graduation. I didn't push through it because I know that I fear so much being in a hospital setting; you're there because you're not feeling good. I fear blood, pain from syringes and other medical procedures, seeing guts/live organs in the OR/ER, witnessing a patient's suffering, death and dead bodies in the morgue, their lives DEPEND on you, many more.

I could do comfortably with schooling and learning, but I'm fully aware what I'm about to enter after graduating and I'm not comfortable learning about diseases cause it's traumatic for me.

Idk like, no regrets and even happy with tech even tho it's very stressful lately but at the same time, I might not be able to achieve my childhood dream which is to migrate abroad...

When I verbally mentioned my childhood migration dreams like living in the US, Canada, UK, NZ, etc., my mom was like, "You should've taken Nursing so you can leave this country for good, you always let your anxiety and fear stop you; good thing IT is still in-demand but idk if IT is enough to leave our country" in a very Asian/Filipino tone.

Actually thinking of taking Nursing as my 2nd degree after graduating from my current program

Should I blame myself for not taking Nursing or other Health Allied courses?

Hi, I'm an IT student but was supposed to be studying Nursing to maximize my opportunities after graduation. I didn't push through it because I know that I fear so much being in a hospital setting; you're there because you're not feeling good. I fear blood, pain from syringes and other medical procedures, seeing guts/live organs in the OR/ER, patient's suffering, death and dead bodies in the morgue, their lives DEPEND on you, many more.

I could do comfortably with schooling and learning but I'm not comfortable working in it after graduation and also learning about diseases and how you could possibly RIP from it, that is why I chose BSIT before entering college and so far, no regrets actually except for migrating abroad cause that's my childhood dream and only programs like Nursing has the most secured chances to fully change your life.

Idk like, no regrets and even happy with tech even tho it's very stressful lately but at the same time, I might not be able to achieve my childhood dream which is to migrate abroad...

I am actually thinking of trying to study Nursing as my 2nd degree and see if I could still push through it because there's less pressure, as I'll be having my BSIT degree in just a few years.

My mom was like, "ayan kase dika nag-nursing, paano ka makakaalis sa bansa na toh? nasa magandang school ka na nga, sana ginandahan mo din ang course mo"

Koreans saying they wish K-pop idols are more free and wild like Katseye

This video is about Koreans reacting to Katseye and they just admit that the girls feel very free and authentic, especially since they can swear, be stubborn, talk about controversial stuff, and more which are the things that these Koreans in the video wish to happen for their Korean idols like they don't have to like act like perfect robots on screen and have multiple cams even inside their rooms.

If you're gonna have a daughter, would you support them if they want to be globally famous within the music/entertainment industry?

Like being in a global-pop group such as Katseye (may kababayan tayo don who also ranked 1st), a very artistic musician, or even an actress, but you'll not be able to communicate with them that often due to intensive training, heavy competition, hectic sched, and would also need to delay their college education.

Imagine waking up hearing this song and you see White Buttoned Shirt Edward waiting for you

I fantasise about this very often since I watched this scene for the first time, and it accurately reflects waking up to your hot daddy husband like Edward here. However, I hate this scene so much because this kind of fantasy will NEVER happen during our lifetime here, at least during my lifetime, lmao.

Do these two realized they have complete destroyed their lives and future in an instant?

Can I ask if they're AWARE that doing this would result in major imprisonment throughout their whole lifespan and that they will not be given the chance to build the future they want?

Kase kung may ambition ka mabago buhay mo or even makaalis ng bansa for good, hinding hindi mo sasayangin ang opportunity binigay sayo para gawin mga yon.

My sister and I are in college, and we are very much drained by choosing heavy STEM demanding programs because we want to have the opportunity to finally change our lives for the better, sawang sawa na kami sa kahirapan. I'm actually having a pre-fever but still grinding tapos eto pala makikita ko? Two killers destroyed their lives and the lives of those they've killed.

Random Question: Can a Person from a Conservative Religion still become a K-pop/Global-pop Idol?

I know this is a slightly controversial question but I am just curious as an Agnostic myself.

I'm just going to ask for the women's side because there's still traditional gender roles in our world. Just wanna ask if a girl/female person from a conservative religion and conservative country could still debut as a K-pop idol? Or even as a Global-pop (US-based) idol? Where explicit clothing, matured choreographies, swearing, queer/LGBT topics, self-expressions are more prominent.

I know most idols are like Buddhists and Christians and etc., but what about women from the remaining religions especially the conservative ones (which I don't want to mention cause I don't want to be attacked) that you're required to practice it daily? If they dream of becoming like one, are they still allowed despite the industry's strict requirements in order to debut?

Is it valid to say that KATSEYE is a comforting group?

I think they're my ult rn, despite not being K-pop, but not because of the music and performances they released, but because of how authentic and comforting they are. I may not have Weverse or any application installed to watch them live, so I search for their livestreams on YT, and honestly, this is the first ever music group that made my chest very light and free, as they're very much vocal about what they want to talk about, such as mental health, sexuality, politics, and more. Maybe because they speak English, which breaks the language barrier, and they don't follow specific K-pop guidelines if they want to interact with fans.

Aside from that, they're the group you should fear when you cross boundaries with them, like when Lara got insulted for her looks. Manon and Dani immediately expressed their disappointment with a death stare and a few words before reporting that user, while Sophia almost lost her temper when someone talked about his brother being single. Megan, on one of her solo live talks about mental health, mentioned that she wants to use her platform and influence for a global change to help people who are suffering in similar situations. This is my favourite, having deep talks with Lara is what I find soothing the most; I remember there was a point that I shed tears to let all the weight out from my chest, then I suddenly remembered some of Lara's words; for me, she's the most mature and has the healthiest mindset. There are still many I wanna talk it out, but I'm just going to cut here.

I wanna meet them so bad, not as a fan but as someone who seeks comfort and wants to learn from them to somewhat help fix myself and make better choices. If ever I meet them, if the universe allows me, I wanna have very meaningful, long, deep talks with them. I'm saying all of this stuff as a sophomore college student myself who's longing for those kinds of interactions because adulting life has been hectic lately :(((

What kind of music that KATSEYE should be producing to align with the group's identity?

KATSEYE is a multinational global girl group based in the US with members came from different countries and ethnicities. I honestly don't know what kind of music would fit them more, whether it's like soft, chill, but upbeat, like during their "Soft is Strong" and Gabriela eras as if you're listening around 2010s-2017 or their more chaotic and wilder side, like Gnarly and Pinky Up?

Both of the vibes/concepts match the group's identity but I don't know if they should stick to one or could try to balance both; just need to improve their music like Pinky Up if they want to be chaotic and be shaking their asses off in the parking lot.

Sorry for asking this because Katseye is like the ultimate girl group I was looking for that I didn't find in the majority of K-pop groups, like English as their major language so everyone can understand them, more vocal about their expressions and what they want to say, more mature to talk with, chaotic bonding, who are bold, and very much happen open and loud. And this is one of the major reasons they'd skyrocket: they're able to connect with us more deeply.

It feels like I'm watching those popular Western Artists that we know today, and we grew up with, but they're developed thru intense K-pop-based training system for their skills which I find it unique and something new served on the table.
