What's wrong?
I was trying to make a video and this happened with the focus. I'm using a ttartisan 23 mm. In AF-C mode.
Please be kind, I'm very very begginer.

I recently purchased the Viltrox 25mm 1.7 for low light scenarios, let me know if some of you have it!
Looking for advice on my ZV-E10 II setup – lens, lighting & overall image quality
Hey everyone!
I recently got a Sony ZV-E10 II (600$) with the Sony 18-105mm F4 G OSS (300$). I'm mainly using it for TikToks/Reels, product videos and also some YouTube/content work.
The 18-105 was actually recommended to me as a good all-around lens, since I don't only make short-form content and I also want to use the camera for other types of work. So I'm not necessarily looking to replace it.
My main problem is that I don't have a lot of space at home. At 18mm I sometimes still feel too tight when I'm filming myself, especially for vertical content.
I'm also still very new to color grading and learning how to get the best image out of the camera. I'm experimenting with S-Cinetone and S-Log3, but I'm definitely still a beginner when it comes to grading (im using premiere pro).
My lighting setup wasn't very good (i have some basic lighting from amazon)
What I'm trying to achieve is:
A good-looking talking-head image for TikTok/Reels
Some background separation/bokeh, but I don't need an insane cinematic blur
Being able to bring products fairly close to the camera and have them in focus
A wider field of view because of my small room
Good image quality without making the setup unnecessarily complicated
I've been looking at lenses such as the Viltrox AF 15mm F1.7 and Sigma 16mm F1.4, but I'm not sure if I actually need another lens or if I should simply learn to get more out of my 18-105 first.
I've attached some frames from my recent videos so you can see my current setup and image quality.
I'd really appreciate some honest feedback:
What would you improve first — camera settings, lighting, positioning, color grading, or lens choice?
And if you were in my situation, would you stick with the 18-105 for now?
I'm still learning, so any advice or criticism is welcome. Thanks! 🙏

I NEED ADVICE FOR A LENS
Hello everyone, I need some advice...
I've been using my Sony ZV-E10 for a while and I just used the stock lens... now that I am getting deeper into videography i feel like i need something better.
I've been searching the web and as it seems (understandably) 1 lens isn't enough for videography, but right now I am tight on money and I can't spend thousands... therefore I am looking for an all-round lens with which I can do a bit of everything and that I can keep using for the years to come (even when I will add other lenses to my arsenal).
Right now I was thinking about a Tamron 17-70mm 2.8 or a Sony 18-105 2.8 (maybe beside a Sony 35mm 1.8 that I found out is kinda cheap if second hand)
Thanks in advice for your help!

Notes: This is my first video using a newly purchased Sony ZV-E10 ii, so if any folk with more camera experience than me have notes id love some constructive criticism.
First shoot with the ZV E10 as a beginner. Feedback is highly appreciated :>
Shot with the kit lens and used the recipe from VeresDeniAlex. What do you think? All pics are unedited too!
Stuttery footage on ZV-E10 II
Hi everyone,
I recently got a Sony ZV-E10 II and recorded some 4K 25fps footage in bright sunlight. Looking at the playback, the motion looks stuttery and choppy whenever the camera moves.
I checked the metadata in Catalyst Browse and realized the auto-exposure set my shutter speed to 1/315s (and up to 1/1000s in full daylight) at f/11, ISO 100. I understand this breaks the 180-degree rule and removes all natural motion blur.
What puzzles me is that whenever people recommend "essential accessories" or best settings for this camera, it's always about mics, cages, grips, or extra batteries. Almost no beginner guide mentions a Variable ND filter as a top priority.
How are you guys getting smooth cinematic motion in daylight without an ND filter? Are most people closing down the aperture, or is everyone secretly using ND filters and just not listing them?
Thanks!
Zve10 II shutter / flash
Hi! I’ve been having issues using flash with my zve10 mark 2, I was told it might be because my shutter sound is off. Does anyone know how to turn it on?
I did silent mode on but still no noise
And second, is this true?
Recommendation on lenses!
Hello, I have a Sony zv-e10. I am currently looking to finally upgrade from the base kit lense after i start using my camera more and more over last couple years. I'm searching for a lense recommendation that would work well in low light (dawn conditions) as well as full day light, filming wildlife (mainly deer and coyotes) from anywhere to 30 yards all the way out to 100. I was looking at the Sony 55-210 f/4.5-6.3. My only concern is that morning shots in low light conditions wouldn't be good. So any and all recommendations or opinions are welcome:)My budget is about 200-250$.
