Those that have the BQ16 Pro , have the issues been resolved?

Hi everyone, I have been with Asus for about a year with ET9’s. Moved to an old apt with plaster walls and WiFi became horrible. Bought some ET12’s on eBay for $400 that are working great. Really I can’t complain (when I had 1g internet) got upgraded to 2gb up/down because my promo ended and it was cheaper than staying. And now that speed envy over WiFi is kicking in. I’m getting about 1.2-1.7 down in the places I need it. Upload doesn’t matter.

Having been looking at BQ16’s , more of a maybe….BUT…
Bestbuy has their 3pack on sale for $999

Wondering if the firmware issues have been resolved or pointless right now as my et12’s are still solid.

Losing Internet connectivity for ZenWifi BQ16 Pro?

Hello,

I've had 2 ZenWifi BQ16 Pro for about 4 months. Starting a month or two ago, I have had a problem once or twice a week where the wifi is unable to connect to the outside internet. I can fix it by unplugging the device for 60 seconds and plugging it back in, but it is super annoying.

I am on firmware 3.0.0.6.102_39256. Does anyone know how I can fix this and keep my Internet up all the time?

Thank you! Other than this problem, I have really enjoyed my ZenWifi and is a big step up from my Google nest wifi pro.

1st setup - pair of BQ16's

Late to this group, just purchased a pair of the BQ16s (bundled together). I've removed what I thought were just stickers to invite me to download the Asus app for setup (which I already have on my phone). But I've read that one of the stickers is saying which node to setup first..

Is there a way for me to tell which I should power on first? I assumed both units were identical so I'd set the router up 1st and then the 2nd unit would be my mesh unit.

Have they already prepped / paired them in the factory to some extent?
