I saw this video of Zayn in ARGENTINA waving from a high BALCONY during this month of OCTOBER which normally would be a totally normal occurrence. However, for Liam and 1d fans this is obviously a bit startling. I saw posts calling people out for connecting “everything” Zayn does to Liam but, seriously? How could this possibly not make us think of Liam? The fandom is traumatized by the events that happened in Argentina 2 years ago this month, and that is totally understandable. Also, does Zayn do this often? I’ve seen many videos of Liam interacting with fans from his hotel balcony, but can’t think of a Zayn one. He usually stays under the radar, does his gig, and moves along. The whole thing just strikes a very weird nerve.

So, my question is, does Zayn know how this might remind people of Liam or is it pure coincidence? It reminds me of Harry singing to someone else on Liam’s birthday or Niall recently singing You and I with Lewis Capaldi. These boys are smart. They know the fandom lore especially when it comes to Larry and Ziam. They know what happened to Liam and that people are still heavily grieving. So, what is the intent or are they really that tone deaf?

EDIT: Does anyone know for sure if this is Zayn? A commenter told me that it actually isn’t him but I haven’t been able to find good confirmation either way!

This is a beautiful music video with beautiful people for a beautiful song, but is there more? I was watching it this morning and of course I always have my Ziam goggles on. I found the timing of the video release to be interesting as it’s on the eve of Zayn performing in Argentina as we near 2 years since Liam’s passing there 💔

In the beginning of the mv Arya is in purple (Liam’s favorite color) up on the balcony. I think this represents Liam in Heaven while Zayn is left alone below. When we see Zayn he looks sad and thoughtful, like he’s missing someone. It reminded me a lot of the Sideways mv where Zayn is looking at the empty space beside him in bed. Eventually, Arya joins him downstairs but they are not together. They both just pass each other and turn to a purple stardust. They are together in spirit but not in body.

The last thing I noticed was during one sequence an image flashes of a black hole or maybe a portal? Not sure why this is included, but I think I’ve seen similar portals in Louis and Harry’s mvs. If anyone has thoughts on this, I’d love to hear.
