This absolutely despicable act occured in Mill lake in Abbotsford. She literally threw a bag full of trash into the lake for ZERO reason!! When there are garbage bins around the entire park too!!! She needs to be punished to the FULL extent of the law. I have walked here many times!! It is literally a natural gem in this town.. mallard ducks, geese, turtles and protected species of rare flying birds come here to nest and breed.

People CANNOT ruin beautiful places like this and kill wildlife in the process. DISGUSTING behavior by this individual and I hope someone knows her name so bylaw and Abby Police will prosecute her to prevent her from ever doing this again...

I feel kind of sheepish asking this here but: I’d like to get about 40lbs of blueberries at a price that’s reasonable for everyone, and I’d like to avoid paying Jimmy Pattison if possible. anyone have any farmer leads or good market places they’re willing to share? what’s the going price per pound at the moment? thanks!

I’ve reached the stage of adulthood where I don’t really give a f*ck anymore, so I have no problem admitting that I’ve been shopping almost exclusively in the “Free” section of Marketplace.

Before anyone judges me, have you seen some of these couches? Some are nicer than furniture I’ve actually paid for.

The problem is that I’ve become emotionally invested in several couches and have absolutely no transportation strategy.

I have located the couch. I have not located a truck.
Does anyone know of a cheap local delivery service, community resource, or other creative solution for moving a couch in Abbotsford?

If someone with a truck is feeling particularly heroic, I can repay the favour later this month.

Trying very hard to avoid Plan B, which currently involves a shopping cart, a ratchet strap, and an unreasonable amount of confidence.

They seriously need some traffic controll people working. The backup for the drive thru spills out onto South Fraser Way causing chaos for those in the right lane who don't know what's going on and for those attempting to turn left out of the parking lot. It's an accident waiting to happen.

Saw you driving down McKee near Prince Charles Elementary at around 2:35 PM on Tuesday. You: female, dark glasses, driving a black Volkswagen license plate MMB ***. You started furiously picking your nose and eating it when you stopped at the light at McKee & McKinley. A few minutes later, you flicked a lit cigarette out the window. I honked at you but you didn’t acknowledge.

Hi all... looking for a stylist that knows wavy/ curly short hair, and how to make it look good! I had a pixie cut for close to 30 years, but I've grown it out a bit (and it's wavy/ curly now). Anyone else notice that the bear population is significantly declining? There would be times where I would see a bear almost every day and now they’re slowly becoming a rare sighting. I understand it’s due to the city expanding on all that other stuff regarding loss of habitat - but is it really that bad to cause such a decrease to the population?

10:30pm is the cut off time for loud noises (Abby bylaws) yet once again it is 11:35pm (as of this post) and nothing is stopping these selfish people from blasting their music outside their house with the ensuing noise going over the forest to my house.

I'm honestly beginning to get fed up. Abbotsford really needs to crush this behavior that is giving a big f u to all other citizens who are obeying the city bylaws.

Can someone explain this anti society behavior? Is it supremacy? Racism? Drunken revelry with zero interest in the well-being of other people?

I'm primarily looking at the Acadia Court on Tims Ave, Manpreet Estates on Tims Street, Dahlstrom Manor on George Ferguson Way, and Meadowood Place on Clearbrook.

Does anyone have any experience in living in these apartment buildings (or any other in the area) in regard to management, neighbours, quality of the apartment etc.?

They’re asking $608,900 for 790 sq ft, which, if you can believe it, is 2 bed, 2 bath. Like, my spouse and I paid $625k for a 1350 sq ft condo just over 2 years ago. They want $350k for a 425 sq ft bachelor suite. That’s insanity.
