I've got some ideas like improving our transit, and expanding out community and recreation centres, but I'd really like to hear what changes you want to see in Abbotsford and what you think city council could do to make Abbotsford better.

I just started listening to this audiobook (non-fiction) about a Black boy who was adopted by a white family in Abbotsford in the '80s. He mostly talks about his experience growing up in the '90s and early 2000s. I'm a couple years older than him, and he was mostly homeschooled so I don't know if I ever ran into him, but I moved to Abbotsford in 1991 and left there until the early 2000s. Has anyone else read this book? Any thoughts?

IMO, it's still Gian's despite there being more restaurants in Abby now. It's taste and selection is still up there with the other top ones, they still have their lunch and now late night weekend buffets and they're not as expensive as Tasty's or Sahota's.
Like the title says, looking for a group local to Abbotsford or Mission that plays DND. Fairly new, just a few months in but am thoroughly enjoying it and would like to find a second group to join.

I grew up in Abbotsford , born and raised, and I’m curious about the city’s history. Are there any local ghost stories, haunted places, urban legends, or creepy experiences that people know about? Also, are there any major historical events, unsolved mysteries, or lesser-known facts about Abbotsford that more people should know?
