I hope this is allowed! I took some time in Photoshop last night to see how the current Snowbirds livery would look on the new CT-157. While I am disappointed they will not be moving to another jet platform, I am very happy that the team will be continuing and has a future mapped out. I believe the PC-21 is a very capable platform, but the Snowbirds have such an iconic paintjob so I hope that it is retained with the switch. Would you like to see a new livery or should the Snowbirds retain the existing one as shown above?
Hey folks! I’m not from Abby, never been to the Costco there ( i do have a membership) but the price of gas there is great compared to everywhere else. Am I going to really regret trying to get in there with a van towing a 15-foot trailer? Probably at about 2pm today (Wednesday)
ETA Thank you Good Redditors of Abbotsford! We stuck to the right as you suggested and no problem. There is a bit of a line but not so much that we are blocking traffic to get into it! Appreciate the help!
Is anyone going to Kamloops today from Abbotsford. Need a key to be dropped off to Kamloops
Hi, cross over post from another subreddit.
But I was looking at a company (Major Motion Marketing) that started posting here in Abby, and it seems too good to be true.
This is what we know about the surface-level operations
Registration number: FM1065614
Registered on: Jan 22, 2025
Business name effective: Jan 22, 2025
Furthermore
1516550 B.C. LTD. is the actual BC company that is listed as such. Looking into that, they have gone under a few other names since around Dec. 13, 2024.
Vancouver Island Consulting
Coastal Acquisition Group
Mj8 Telecom Solutions
M2 Network
Using the free and public access internet
I have found this on their website
Telling or showing us in particular that the website itself is newly created and registered alongside, and that the mailing address is using an Arizona proxy
Fun fact, this site was made by GoDaddy lol, just thought I should mention this
The nicer pictures, in my opinion, were taken during a local private event at Cafe Brampton and uploaded on Feb 13 2025. And in my opinion in no way reflects the overall atmosphere or value of the company. Somehow, Instagram seems to be more reflective of its day-to-day operations. The older phone number listed, 4637, is no longer in use, as confirmed by further calling it. But the HQ address is listed under Bridge St, Victoria. Which is now in Abbotsford. But the address actually belongs to a local builder's doors and window company. Will update later after I go in and conduct a physical investigation.
Furthermore, you couldn't find any reviews for this business because it seems to rebrand every so often. Take that as you will. Most employees don't list more than a year on their resume because that's how long they have been around. My personal suspicion, based on similar jobs like M3 (not fact), is that it requires a high volume of sales or staff, because the job requires 1 of 2 things.
1: abuse of international workers or minimum wage workers to keep costs down, profits high
or
2: long hours of work with unrealistic goals to keep bonuses or commissions out of reach, with high use of door-to-door sales.
Ultimately, take all this information as you need or want to. In no way am I a researcher, just someone with too much free time and lots of mistrust of companies. And who knows, they might be legit, and I might be just crazy.
I’m looking to move and not familiar with Abbotsford area all that well … is it generally a good area or is there lots of homeless people around that way? (Currently living in a neighborhood where the homelessness problem is a bit much and I don’t want to repeat the same mistake)
Any insight would be extremely helpful !😇😇
Need somewhere to leave my car for about 24 hours overnight. Is highstreet a safe option?
Does anyone know what happened on this stretch of Fraser Highway on Sunday night (05/17)? There were fire trucks, police, and ambulances all responding to the same area. I waited for over 20 minutes, gave up, and found another way to the Super Save Gas Station I was trying to get to. Just curious to know what happened!
So me and my friends went to the river view hospital and it was such a vibe now we’re trying to get into like adventuring the lowermainland so if anyone knows any places I would appreciate if you guys gave me some address so me and my friends can go and adventure. PLEASEEEE AND THANKKK!!!!
Looking for a trustworthy and reasonably priced mechanic in Abbotsford. Don’t want dealership pricing or upselling just someone honest, skilled, and fair. Mainly looking for long-term reliability and good customer service. Any local shops or mechanics you personally recommend (or ones to avoid)? Bonus if they’re good with diagnostics and don’t overcharge. Thanks!
Hi, a young adult here so sorry for the noob question but there was a power cut in the gladwin rd area for 14 hours.
I asked AI like chatgpt and gemini and they both told me that stuff in the freezer will be safe for 48 hrs, or atleast 24 hrs so they are good to eat but tells me to throw away stuff in the fridge.
I especially want to know about milk and eggs cuz I have a lot of omega-3 eggs and high protein milk that i don't wanna throw away. Will it be dangerous for me to eat them?
My ocd is slowly ruining my life and I need help. I have heard it can be very hard to find someone who specializes in OCD. Any local recommendations? Or any community resources? I’m lost and don’t know where to start.
TIA 🫶🏼
Anyone know what happened to S&L? Was it just not popular anymore? It was really expensive, so I didn’t get to go often but it had good food
Does anyone know what the process is for vendors/food trucks at Mill Lake Park? The boba tea truck has been there for the past few summers. I’ve noticed a new dog treat truck this past weekend as well.
Can anyone just park there and sell?
It definitely seems like a profitable place for food trucks, etc. But I imagine there would be many vendors present if it was open to everyone. What makes these 2 vendors allowed to and not others?
Just curious :)
Looking for a housecleaning service (not MollyMaid or Maid Only For You-just awful experiences). Would like someone who could come in every 3-4 weeks, residential house cleaning. Any recommendations?
